I just googled "promise keepers belmont university". It seems like this story has been published in dozens of christian news websites and blogs in the last 24 hours, while nairy a main stream news site has picked up on it. This looks like a very well-concerted response to this alleged snubbing.

I'd love to hear what Belmont University has to say about this before passing any kind of judgement. But if BU truly shut PK down over PM, all I can say about that is: Go Bruins!

Why would the MSM rush to publish a minor tiff between two relatively unknown Christian entities?

Perhaps it's news to Christians but it hardly justifies a conspiracy of silence within the MSM.

That was a blast from the past. Didn't even know the PKs were still a thing. (OK, they're not that much of a thing.) It's been about 20 years since they did anything. Belmont at least gets a 15 seed in the NCAA tourney every few years.

I'm not pointing out a "conspiracy of silence", but the well-oiled response by the christian alternative news cycle. If anything, it's a "conspiracy of loudness", just in a certain bubble.
