I had heard a similar incident, but it was middle schoolers. Maybe the two got mixed up? There are in the gay community that this movement upsets. I watched a video of a gay man that was very anti this movement, especially the targeting of children. I have heard, this about many gays are upset. But the point that I would like to make is this.
If this movement becomes soundly rejected, especially by the kids. What will it be like for a true transgender kid? It is no different than fake claims of racist incidents, being proved a fake set up. Jussie smollet comes to mind, there are others, but his really became famous. Or when a rape, that was proved to be false, like in the la cross team years back. When that happens it truly harms those that are victims of those things. It is going to be the same thing for those suffering from gender dysphoria. It has been a rare thing. So those poor kids, if this thing turns around, those suffering from this, are going to be in a worse position than they were before. These activists are using them, and will end up harming them more in the end.

I am absolutely shocked that the kids, California kids no less, revolted. Pleasantly shocked. There may be hope.

So those poor kids, if this thing turns around, those suffering from this, are going to be in a worse position than they were before. These activists are using them, and will end up harming them more in the end.

We can hope that those very rare kids who are genetically different will still be helped. I suggest that one of the best places for that might be a Catholic school, where the concept of everyone being in the image of God CAN sometimes be asserted without gender bender goofiness.

I honestly hope that it is true that the majority of Americans side with the Catholic Church and conservatives in general on the LGBTQ issue. But the thing is, there was a survey a few months ago that said that more Americans than ever before support so-called "LGBTQ rights".

You're absolutely right. Lord knows, I wouldn't put Joe Biden in charge of a Sno-Cone stand, but he at least has the excuse of being senile and under the influence of the idiots who lead him around by the hand and tell him what to do and what to say. Supporting gay rights and supporting gay behavior are not the same thing in my mind. I think a better poll would be “would you want your children to become gay?” Asking someone if they should be discriminated against is a lot different than asking them if they advocate that type of behavior.

I agree with you. The questions in these types of surveys need to be more nuanced. Sadly, there's a lot of bias in surveys of this type.
