I don't have kids, so I don't know, but I was under the impression that they're mostly being taught about larger categories, like "there are trans people and non-trans people", not all these different gender labels. Do you have any source that is more authoritative than a wiki? I have hard time believing that kids are being taught things in school that primarily exist via wikis, considering that Wikipedia itself (by far the most moderated and hence restrictive of the sites of this type, in terms of what can be placed on them uncontested) is generally not accepted as a reliable source from which students may source the information in their own papers.
