  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks! The lobster is a 2d watercolor on yupo painting. I cut it out to make it look in perspective. The white of the paper is not a perfect rectangle but cut in perspective to make it recede. The lobster and white rectangle are on the same plane. The cast shadows make the lobster pop out.I canI then can put it on any surface and film it. (Or I could permanently attach it) Here is a pic on the floor so u can see the shape of the yupo

Back to yupo! This looks good. But I am not sure what I am looking at with the overlapping.

By the way, have you ever tried goauche on yupo?
I like gouache.. I did a few after watching a lot of James Gurney YouTube videos

Thanks! Sometimes you see this technique used on billboards. I remember a billboard for an exterminator where the designer put ants in it and had the ants extend beyond the rectangle for a 3d effect
