  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you can figure out how Soros and Zuckerberg have hypnotized Alvin Bragg, you should be able to work out the timing and connection between Trump, Cohen and Stormy Daniels. It's not complicated.
I don’t know about hypnotizing him but Soros “charity” funneled money to the PAC that supported Bragg. I don’t know about Zuckerberg

Is there a case of any other individual or entity every being charged with 34 felonies for such actions? How about NBC? Were they charged with felonies in regard to all of that money to keep those with sexual harassment allegations quiet? As to presidents, I don't know of anyone who today claims that Bill Clinton did not actually lie under oath when he said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky." That's not a pretend crime trying to take a misdemeanor charge where the statute of limitation expired into 34 felonies? How may felonies was Bill Clinton charged with?

Good point about NBC.

Amazing what a simple Google search can do.

Did NBC falsify business records? That's the crime. It's not about paying hush money.

Trump can plead ignorance. It’s believable according to Democrats

If he testifies, it will be such a shame, since I doubt there will be cameras.

Trump's a fool, but not that big a fool. He has an absolute right to not testify without any negative inference. His attorneys won't argue for it and I don't think would really want to testify and face cross examination.

There's never been a case in the history of the N.Y. attorney's office where someone pays money to keep something quiet, doesn't include it on their business records, and then was prosecuted. Such an act would be a misdemeanor, and it's a good bet NBC and others are guilty of that technical misdemeanor. I bet plenty of people, including Mr. Bragg, have driven 32 MPH in a 30 MPH zone but are not prosecuted for that as well. The reason Trump is being prosecuted is that he won against Hillary and is a threat to the corrupt establishment. The hard left is sick and tired of people not voting for their agenda and they aim to do control that problem.

Because nobody cares about that. There's nothing necessarily illegal about that.

doesn't include it on their business records,

Ah, but Trump did include it in his business records. But he did not represent them truthfully. With these business records being false, he's being charged with falsifying business records.

Well that's an allegation. On the other hand we know for sure that Hillary Clinton and her campaign did not truthfully disclose their business expenses about the Steele Dossier. Remember the FEC fined them? Why hasn't Hillary been prosecuted? We also know Hillary illegally kept classified records on a private server, when requested she had records destroyed and a staffer took a hammer to a hard drive. Why wasn't she prosecuted for that? This is a horrible double standard and the idea is to stop any opposition to the Democrat agenda no matter what, that means Democrats are to be above the law and made up felony charges can be used against Trump. This is a violation of our Constitution, and I am sick and tired of the double standard. We are quickly turning into a totalitarian regime, and every American should be outraged when people are not treated equally under the law.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The FEC concluded that the Clinton campaign and DNC misreported the money that funded the dossier, masking it as “legal services” and “legal and compliance consulting” instead of opposition research.

Bragg did not cite specific statutes he will rely upon to pursue felonies. He talked about two options but didn’t specify. That may violate Trump’s 6th amendment rights.

You do have a good point there.

Anyone remember this:

The text of the 19-page letter reads: "I, Donald J. Trump, hereby resign from each and every office and position I hold" in more than 400 entities listed on the following pages.

The letter is signed by Trump and dated January 19, the day before he was sworn in.

Here is my point. Trump resigned from his position in January 2017

The indictment accused him of making a false General Journal entry. (Something a CFO does) more than a month after he quit.
