Why don't Christians practice what they preach?

You actually still believe that old line - "hoping most pregnant women choose to not have abortions, but as a patriotic American citizen, feeling it is his duty to let them do it because that right is permanently ingrained in the U.S. Constitution." Catholic Democrats have been saying that for decades but yet the number of abortions performed each year in the US was over one million. On top of that, a woman's right to choose an abortion or not IS NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION. Liberals only interpret the Constitution that way but it the wrong way.

So Christians who are against abortion put up with that liberal invention until the time was right and more people knew about the evils of abortion then conservatives corrected the Constitution the way it was suppose to be understood.

The only people who say abortion rights are not in the Constitution are anti-choice Christians whose top priority is treating women with unwanted pregnancies like they are second-class citizens. The SCOTUS proved again and again women's reproductive rights are in the Constitution. It also is guaranteed in the Fourth Amendment, according to one of the best law colleges in America, Harvard University. The only reason Roe vs. Wade was reversed last year was three justices are highly partisan Donald Trump picks, including a rapist, who do not care about what the Constitution says - just like he never did.

I think one reason Christians don't practice what they preach is that they are flawed human beings like the rest of humanity. Most people are hypocritical in some aspects of their lives.

Herschel Walker lost. He conceded. What else needs to happen, to satisfy you?

The fact that many Christians voted for him instead of a sexually moral pastor and family man is bad enough. I can never be satisfied with Christians voting against a man who not only is a Christian, but actually preaches the Bible every Sunday.

During his concession speech, Herschel Walker repeatedly praised God. But he did xit at the College Football Hall of Fame because his biggest accomplishment was winning the Heisman Trophy. He also lied by saying his biggest accomplishment was running for a Senate seat. Yeah right, the one he did not win that night.

A saint who has since passed on to glory, used to tell people who'd say to him that the church is full of hypocrites; "come on in anyway, one more won't hurt"

So when Sunday school teacher Jimmy Carter lost to Ronald Reagan that must have been tragic for you. Many Christians voted for him, too.
Many times, the church is not just the "called out ones" but it's also "a hospital for people who know they're sick"- not necessarily believers, but seekers.

Jimmy Carter was the incumbent. Did he actually teach Sunday school while serving as U.S. President? That is hard to believe.

You have to give me a more recent example. I was only three years old back then.

even though her unwanted pregnancy was obviously 100% the father's fault?
I know a girl who was raped and decided to raise her daughter. She does not claim it was 100% his fault. I use to have this conversation with my son. I would say I never should have married his mom. Then he would say: Then I would not have been born. So the question is how far can we go to sacrifice ourselves for others. I gave him 20 years of my life and maybe that is enough.

Are you trying to say that Carter was more of a Christian than Reagan? Teaching sunday school makes you a Christian?

I have said in the past there is no such thing as being "more Christian" or "less Christian" than another Christian. The Bible says it is black and white: either you are a Christian or you are not.

I would have voted for Jimmy Carter because he was a Democrat.

Abortion rights are not in the Constitution. The right to kill the innocent was never part of Roe V Wade. Their
decision was the right to privacy, but that was stretching it. A parent doesn't have the right to privacy when
abusing their child or even their pets. The right to privacy is only allowed when morality is being upheld.
Abortion is immoral and therefore not a right.

The fact
is, Christianity made the West and the US and made things better where
colonization took place. Don't take it from me, but read the book and
learn what Vishal Mangalwadi proves in his observance of history and India.
That basically means that the Western Christians knew they were sinning...but did so anyway.

Thomas Jefferson wrote that much himself regarding slavery.

They absolutely are in the Constitution. If you don't believe me, read it.

Abortion is immoral and therefore not a right.

Rights are not based on morality. They never were or will be.

Read the book.

Yeah, they made errors, but so did the countries like India. In fact, in India and Islamic nations
mistakes are still being made including the rape and death of people, yet no word is
mentioned about it. Just the errors made by Christian nations are highlighted.

The fact is, life in the West is far better than anywhere else in the world. More people
try to come to the USA, than any other country, despite that we're supposed to be
a racist oppressive society.

Show me where abortion is even mentioned in the Constitution.

Rights have to be based on God's morality, not morality made up by humans.
The Declaration of Independence specifies that we are given inalienable rights
from the Creator, not from the government.

It's where we are today and it's the cause of our nations downfall.

How many days of the year, every year, do murders occur in the United States ? Did anyone give them a right to murder , legally and morally , without penalty , without judgment in the end when perfect justice is executed ?

So according to you, the laws against murder are arbitrary?

I guess I'm missing the point you're trying to make.

Yeah, I'm missing the point.

Please explain what you meant?
How many days of the year, every year, do murders occur in the United States ?
i.e. murder happens every day of every year.
Did anyone give them a right to murder , legally and morally , without penalty , without judgment in the end when perfect justice is executed ?
Did everyone get permission, legally, to murder ?
