Little back story , was born in a hindu family, currently an atheist, i am 20 yr old and feel like an old man with nothing to show for in life, now i wish that if only the internet hadnt filled my brain with a million ideas there still would have been a way for me to believe in god, finally have came to an understanding that lifes pretty empty without a bigger reason to live than myself, wish there was way for me to redpillmy brain into believing in god, but again i feel like its too late for me. I have no idea where to go from here.

I used to have purposes in life but they all led to disappointment so I just gave up earthly desires like having a purpose. If succeed in life it might’ve been different.

I can relate. Some have found that finding a "purpose" is more disappointing than realizing you don't have to live with a particular purpose. However, for most people, this proposition is too frightening to think about.

God made the atheist as well as the believer. For if the believer can only know by means of God revealing Himself to them, then those for whom He doesn't reveal Himself, are stuck as unbelievers. Therefore, it is by the will of God that a person believes or doesn't believe.

Remember what Jesus said even to His Disciples:

Joh_15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Joh_10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

So you see it is God who gives FAITH and it is God would gives Repentance. It is God would starts and finishes the work of Salvation for EVEVYONE and ANYONE. So if someone is not a believer, then know God at this time desires them to NOT believe. God is accomplishing His will right now and using ATHEISTS and secularism as parts of that process.

I'm not sure how your reference of Romans 1:21 is correlated to my statements. However, in regards to those that know the Truth but do not obey that Truth, they are not believers. For Adam believed in God but then later disbelieved in God for he partook of the forbidden fruit.

But even for Adam it was purposed that Adam would fail. It was an expectation. For Paul even says such:

Rom 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Look at the following:

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Now the fullness of Gentiles is almost fully come in at this time. But think about the consequence of that verse. They were blinded until such time should occur. Now was that not purposed by God? - sure it was. So if it was then God desires some to be unbelievers at this time.

The Devil is for sure contrary to God but the Devil is operating in the framework that God provides and accomplishing what God desires no matter how much the devil shall oppose God. If God wanted the Devil gone, it could happen in less than a second. Here is what the Lord says:

Isa_45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

When you understand God from this perspective you truly see how pathetic man's power and pride is and realize that God is AWESOME!

The normal term for that is that God is the "author" of sin. If, then, God desires men to sin, then it is His will. If we are doing His will, then it isn't sin, since sin is defined as something that is contrary to God's will.

What you've defined is a conflicted god. I would suggest that you rethink your interpretations of those verses.

Jesus basically wants us love God & neighbor ( Matthew 22:36-40). Primarily we are to practice charity towards others & pray for our own salvation & that of others ( see Matthew 6:1-15, 1 Timothy 2:1-6). Jesus wants us to call upon Him as Savior ( see Romans 10:9-13).
