I've never come across a creationist who claims that microevolution has never been observed.

The only difference between micro and marco evolution are different scales. Creationist believe they are different but they are unable to explain what prevents the process of evolution scaling. Are you up for the challenge?

I am certainly fond of the KJV myself--although not now thought to be the most accurate translation, it has more literary merit than modern versions. As an Episcopalian I am used to the scriptural readings and Psalter in the Book of Common Prayer, which are all Coverdale's work and which strongly influenced the AV.
