There is a gap between that of Luke 21:20 and the coming recorded in verse 27.

You have to get passed the cursed fig tree before you can have a fig tree bloom.

You have to explain why Jesus included "ALL TREES" in Luke's account before you can prove the Fig represents anything special beyond a "yearly object lesson" in this passage.

Luke 21:29
29 Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.

You likewise need to explain, If the Fig tree is Israel, who then is the Olive Tree in Romans 11 & Jeremiah 11?

The "you" in the OD is the church

Yet you have to EXCLUDE the Apostles that Jesus was directly addressing when He said "you".

Where does scripture instruct you to exclude them?

It was not an Olive Tree that Jesus cursed.

Israel was not limited to one symbolic term. Israel was symbolized by sheep, stars, olive trees, grape vines, virgins, harlots, and fig trees.

Who are ALL THE TREES that, according to Jesus, need to Bud just like the fig before we can recognize it is near??

If you are looking at all the other trees, that is your choice. The one works just fine to me.

So you pick and choose which words of Jesus to listen to?

So you pick and choose which words of Jesus to listen to?
You would follow Judas when Christ gave the ok to go betray Him?

You would walk on water with Peter? You would deny Jesus as Peter did when Jesus pointed out what Peter would do?

Where is it said that fig trees represent Israel?

Now that I know this is how you do hermeneutics, it explains some things.

If you are a preterist then everything is a metaphor and it means whatever you want it to. If you take it more literally, prophecy isn't fulfilled until it is fulfilled.
That’s not true at all. We take all of it literally in that we take it as it was intended to be taken. That’s why you will see more proper Hermeneutics from postmillennialists (using scripture to interpret scripture) than from other views which try to discern the times to fit with their presuppositions.

Jesus said "Behold the Fig tree AND ALL THE TREES".

What do you think He meant by all the trees"?

Are those words of His meaningless to you? Words you can simply ignore?

Says the person who turns "Must shortly take place for the time is near", "is about to take place", "soon", "in a very very little while" & "without delay" into metaphor that means whatever you want it to, instead of taking it literally.

Maybe it's only OK when YOU do it?

I don't. They are part of the church.
Yet you exclude them from any application.

According to you, the apsotles did NOT "See all those things" (Matthew 24:33) even though Jesus said they would.

Again, the YOU never changes. It ALWAYS includes the Apostles:
33 So you also [Apostles standing here], when you[Apostles standing here] see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!

Who is mentioning hermeneutics? You change topics, and ask questions leading away from the original point. I am just trying to keep up.
