Is it wrong to wear dragon jewelry?

Satan is referred to as a dragon and a serpent
But dragons and serpents are creatures made by God. (Some people might disagree that dragons are real creatures made by God - but I think this is another name for creatures similar to or the same as dinosaurs. They’ve not been discovered with wings- yet!)
I was wondering if it was wrong to wear dragon or snake jewelry. It’s important that Christians dress in a way that honors Christ. Would people associate dragon jewelry with Satan?

Some people will. That doesn't make all such jewelry inherently bad, but if even if it's not inherently bad it may still send the wrong message concerning what you're about.

There are plenty of dragons outside the Bible, as any reader or viewer of The Hobbit, LOTR, the Silmarillion, Harry Potter, or A Song of Ice and Fire could tell you. There is also a (sort of) Dragon in The Wheel of Time. Not forgetting the war-dragons in Michael Moorcock's Elric stories.

If you believe that it is wrong to wear this item, or that it would cause a stumbling block for other then, for you, it would be wrong to wear.

My wife would be very critical of any Christian wearing it, due to its Satanic connection.

I would try to be open-minded but would also look for evidence that you are or are not overly occupied by Dragons and similar things.

I have played Dungeons and Dragons for decades and know that sometimes a dragon is just a dragon, but sometimes it is something more - sinister.

Here is a challenge to consider. Paul says to refrain from things that others consider sinful. You know that it's OK, but you may lead a "weaker brother" to sin. Which do you love more, your jewelry or your weaker brothers?
