Hi everyone

I’m reaching out again in another emergency.

So while I was driving to work today,my heart was so hurt towards Jesus for what I said yesterday.Halfway to work something popped into my mind that scared me even worse than yesterday,it was like a two choice thing,to see the bad in life and be angry at God,or see the Good and love God.Obviously I rejected the anger part, but I’ve been Tempted the entire 40 minute drive to be angry at God and look at everything and see the wrong.I’m getting scared that I’m demonically possessed,or scared I’m becoming a misothiest or atheist.Everytime I try to think and redirect my thoughts to Gods mercy and grace im bombarded with “ to be angry at him” Please I know prayer is strong, can anyone, please pray that God help me and banish these evil thoughts and temptations! It’s like my mind keeps wanting to not trust in God because he makes it only him as the way and without him there is nothing,or some sort of angry mindset at him that I’ve never ever ever had before. And it’s scaring me.I’m even terrified I committed apostasy, and I’m battling apathy over it

Nobody can fix your faith for you Blaise. Even if anyone did that would just make you dependent on another person, rather than God. I don't think that's what he'd want. You have to learn to trust God and scripture.

All I can say is, think of the saints like Abraham -- was he constantly worried? Was he relying on others constantly filling his mind with fear and doubt? Why or why not? How can this apply to your life?

You want to attack. You want to be critical instead of thankful for the blessings God gives. When you have an emergency, will anyone show up to help you?

No,I feel so hopeless because I’m afraid I committed apostasy and I’m afraid God won’t help me because I’ve somehow denied him.

Yeah. I understand.

I'll pray that you find a Christian therapist who might give you some better guidance. Do you know of any in your area?

Blaise, the nature of OCD is that the thoughts are intrusive. They're involuntary. And clearly you're struggling against it. You know it's not you, it's just something your brain does. You can pray for deliverance from the source of the intrusive thoughts, but in the meantime, you need to recognize what OCD is and learn to trust God who sees and knows the heart. It sounds like God gave you a dream. He gave a dream to Abraham as well, so why don't you start there?

Sure. I'm more than happy to talk with you, but just remember the rules of the forum do not allow other posters to 'act' as a counselor. But we can talk with each other, brother to brother.

Yesterday I said concerning the thought of unconditional election, which I thought meant that Jesus chooses who he’ll save, and doesn’t want to aave others. And I said “If Jesus doesn’t want to save or love me,I hate him” now this scared me so badly,I was shaking for the entire day.Skip ahead to today,I was so deeply hurt that I said that yesterday that I said to the Lord “I’m sorry,I repent of saying that, please forgive me” numerous times, then I had a thought intrude saying “why focus on the good attributes of God when you could be angry at him” and it scared me so badly that even when I was begging and crying for god to help me the thoughts kept saying “be angry at God don’t even sad” and I’m so scared that I committed apostasy and I’ve been crying all day and begging Jesus to save and rescue me but I’ve received nothing.I’m even battling understanding questions like,”Is God the author of sin?” “Why would I follow Jesus if he created sin?” And they all are scaring me.I’m now feeling so hopeless I’ve ever been in my life,I’m afraid I rejected Jesus and now I’m left to live a hopeless life. All I want is Jesus’s comfort and love

... brother Blaise, I'm pretty sure that feelings of frustration a person may have in association with clinical O.C.D. don't fully qualify as acts of apostasy.

You have O.C.D., and as such, you're feeling frustrated. That's very understandable. But despite what you feel with your daily emotional challenges, I'm more than sure that Jesus, as our Lord and Savior who loves every single one of His lambs who may stray, loves you and will always hold open His arms to you.

Part of having faith in Jesus isn't only in responding to Him in a positive way, but also in knowing that He is our Creator and our Savior. And being that Jesus knows what it is to suffer as a human being, He also understands you and He knows that you're not always in control of how you feel about life.

Just try to focus on the fact that He loves you and has told us that He will never drive away anyone who is wanting, even if struggling, to come to Him.

what dream?

Your post was in my "New Threads" feed this morning...

Hi everyone,

I’d like to come to the community to ask a favor.I know dreams sometimes are irrelevant, but I’ve had dreams in my post about Jesus, and last night I had a dream of Jesus being crucified,it was a little jumbled with other things, but it was also me being crucified. But not to a cross. It’s kinda confusing with all that went on,but is this Good or bad?

Another dream I had was about a year ago,it was where I met Jesus, and I was crying and I apologized for all I did wrong, and he wrapped his arm around me and said “My child, your sins are forgiven” could this mean something?

Only you know if your dream was real, but your situation reminds me of Genesis 15.

So if I’m scared I’ve committed the unpardonable sin or apostasy then I haven’t?
