You need to post which rules you want others to follow to keep you happy.
I've been trained in creating citations for the internet and I follow legal
guidelines mostly because they are published for the public to read.

If you look into copy rules you'll discover that excepts are considered fair use. If this were not the case then Google or any search engine could not provide any listings or information.

Or you could just follow forum rules. And make your own arguments while not presenting the work of others as if it was your own. Which is plagiarism, even if the word itself is not used.
