There is but it's only visible to those who pray. Others are not made aware of God's works and answers to prayer.

Now THAT is an amazing coincidence - you have to believe beforehand to even see it.
And, of course, if you want to be considered a TRUE believer, then you must see it... even when you don't... So you just go along to get along... like a good flock member...

Christianity gives meaning to life.
Wow, I didn't realize that there is no meaning to life unless you believe ancient tales are true.
Weird.
I have the utmost respect for Jordan Peterson. He has a great ability to skewer irrational false narratives such as white privilege and male domination.
Shocking.

I think Peterson is a charlatan grifter who found a niche to make himself wealthy by pandering to weak-willed, angry, ignorant white boys.

If this evolved then it is hard wired and would be normal and natural for everyone. It's pretty obvious that tribalism, self preservation, self interest and selfishness in general are just as much part of the human condition.
Coincidentally, very much so amongst those proclaiming their Christian piety.

But his conclusion is incorrect.
According to your mere assertion.

I know Peterson is a hack as I have read/heard some of his "scientific" claims and know/found them to be nonsense. But the incel goobers that make up his target audience will not know or care to know. Sort of like how religious hierarchies work.

You may want to visit some prominent wittings on Secularism here is a snippet of one:
What makes this unreferenced gibberish a "prominent writting[sic]"?

Because you agree with it?

No I do not agree but it does cover the theory quite well.
Thanks for sharing.

I like this at the end of the link you provided:

"No archaeological discovery has ever contradicted a single, properly understood Biblical statement."

Again, with emphasis:

"No archaeological discovery has ever contradicted a single, properly understood Biblical statement."

Therein lies the rub...

There are eyewitness sightings of him all over the world since his alleged death. Did you see his body?

Sounds like you're saying such conveyance is unreliable, especially over long periods of time. I'd be inclined to agree.

No I didn't see his body ... the family states they had a private autopsy done (which is considered private property) and said results would not be released for 50 years ... if information on the internet is accurate info about his death will be released in 2026.

Autopsy's are performed on dead people.

Time???? When did time begin .... did it have a beginning?

That's not data. That's an anecdote.

It would always be anecdotal...it can't be anything other than anecdotal. But I'd point out that the writers of scripture considered "anecdotes" as positive evidence.

Even scripture says:

You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. -- James 4

So it's not a matter of merely praying, but praying in line with God's will for the situation. How is a data collector going to categorize that?

How convenient.

Do you shave? Every time you look in the mirror, there is repeatable evidence that God exists. You refuse to accept it.

What repeatable evidence are you referring to?

Two drunk teenagers can make a human being. There is nothing miraculous about my existence or anyone else's.

Do we have to go through this again? No, I won't. It does not matter what anyone says, you will find a reason to reject it.
Please provide good evidence for this claim. The fact that you think you can possibly know that about anyone else is arrogant and condescending. I would never say to you that all you do is find reasons to believe no matter the evidence. I believe if you were shown that the reasons you had to believe were unsound you would stop believing.

The Bible has not been revised ever. The reason is simple. God got it right first time.
This is not a strength but a flaw of the bible. Science corrects itself constantly. Scientists all over try to falsify current accepted consensus on its findings. This is why science gave us medical advances, technology etc. that the bible could never deliver. I would respect the bible more if over time it was updated to reflect reality.

Just maybe this former atheist may help you understand.
No, all I heard were bad reasons to believe and that I am stupid for not believing in a god that has not been demonstrated. The fact is I was a believer for 18 years and it is because I took truth seriously and read the bible in detail is why I became an unbeliever. Also, I do not think a god does not exist. I do not believe the claims that a god exists.

Ain't it, just? But sending up a prayer has never been a slam-dunk to success.

But if it actually happened then statistical analysis should bare that out. It follows that people of different faiths or no faith should experience significantly fewer instances of "miraculous healing" and/or spontaneous remission than Christians due to intercessory prayer and/or faith in the power of their gods. If there is no difference in those groups then prayer is statistically no different than non-prayer. i.e. praying has 0 discernable effect on reality.

No, people believe untrue things to be true by believing bad evidence. Is there anything that you believe to be true that you can just choose to believe the opposite without being convinced in some way?

Sounds like you need to define evidence.

And you attribute this to prayer?

Seems fantastically arbitrary and inconsequential.

Have you prayed for world peace? Wouldn't that be a bit more consequential?

You can mock all you like...

Would you like to present evidence that God is not real ???

What a happy coincidence.

Prayer "answered'? "PRAISE JESUS! total proof that prayer works and God is real!!!!"

Prayer not answered? "Oh well, poop happens. Maybe you are a sinner after all... Part of the plan... etc."

Mock away...

Sounds made-up.

The lady I was dining with is a well known author and missionary.

You seem to understand little about the walk of faith...

I left NZ with just 150 dollars and was away for 10 weeks - it was appointed - strangers gave me cash - Israel and then China. All paid for. My calling was very specific.
