  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

From the 'Hold on! This used to be a conspiracy theory!' files:

Israel is planning to administer FOURTH Covid shot which could be adjusted to fight new variants as country battles wave of infections despite hugely successful vaccine roll-out

Israel is set to begin preparations to administer fourth doses of the coronavirus vaccines as the country deals with soaring cases despite its trail-blazing roll-out of jabs.

The country's national coronavirus czar Salman Zarka said the country needs to prepare for a fourth injection, which could be modified to better protect against new variants of the virus.

'Given that that the virus is here and will continue to be here, we also need to prepare for a fourth injection,' he told Kan public radio.

'This is our life from now on, in waves.'

The real question, does opposing this policy classify one as an anti-Semite as opposing other policies of the Israeli government or the US propping that government up does?

And this is what truly concerns me. Not so much the potential side effects, though those are bizarre. But the way this is turning into a draconian, pressurized litmus test as to how worthy / fit you are to continue interacting with other people. Not that people *shouldn’t* get the vaccine; for most people, it’ll be the right choice. But not for everyone, for various reasons.

They are turning what should have been a very simple “yes, please!” or “no, thank you!” choice into a gauntlet that stupidly pits people against each other. It’s more psychological than medical, imho. And it’s bizarre.

Show me one other jurisdiction whose numbers are anywhere close to Israel's and I'll entertain this discussion. As it is, because their numbers are so off (and they were very early to be vaxxed) I want assurances that their doses were administered properly and were viable to begin with.

Unless you can find more jurisdictions with comparable data or an explanation of why Israel's numbers are so wacked out compared to every country, theres no point in holding them up as an example of anything.

They are an aberration.

I and many others suspect the end goal is a Chinese-style, totalitarian, social credit system.

It's not a coincidence that in the last year numerous governments around the world have started working on creating digital currency systems. Once digital currency is in place it can be joined up with vaccine passports to authorise or deny a transaction based on social credit score.

Covid was the pretext to create the foundations for a social credit system via vaccine passports, and get rid of cash because it may be a transmission route for the virus. By the time most people realise it may be far too late.

You could say the same thing about food rationing after a war.

Also, I'm wondering if we could tone down the dramatic language as coercive and tyrannical are not the same thing.

It is also a SINGLE issue or behaviour that has larger implications and intentions of keeping people alive and out of hospital

If the vaccines do not seem to be accomplishing either thing in Israel, why do you think that is? Seriously. I don’t know, so I’m asking.

Is that why so many people in Israel are STILL ending up in the hospital?

I see you've started a behaviour of replying with some absolutely unrelated nonsequitor that you are trying to shoehorn in as relevant.

Re; Israel and covid. I address it in the other thread. Israel's response is an outlier; an aberration. To use them as an example of useless vaccines is like saying because I saw someone juggling chainsaws in Vancouver one time, everyone in Vancouver can juggle chainsaws.

Another perfectly reasonable explanation is that Israel is simply a few months ahead of everyone else, and in a few months time, everyone else will have the exact same experience as Israel.

How could my post about people still ending up in the hospital with all those vaccinations be irrelevant to a thread titled, "Israel is planning to administer FOURTH Covid shot"?
No shoehorning needed. It just slipped in as if the thread slot was designed for it.

Before we forget what I just asked, why are all those people still ending up in the hospital in Israel despite all those vaccinations, and the mandates that they be gotten, and the head start they had on us? Seems to me that if we want to see our future, look to Israel's current condition.

I get a flu shot every year.
I’m due for another shingles vaccine this year.
I’ve had numerous vaccines as a child.
I’m already too bloody old.
But I will keep getting vaccines as needed, and when the people who know more than I, say so.
I don’t feel I need to wear a mask, but I do so when I go out. Even if it gives some kind of comfort to 1 person, it is worth it.
It’s really not that big a deal to be a cooperative citizen, when living in a crowded world. It’s not necessary are beneficial to society to politicize everything in life.

So you see no ulterior motives or agenda? You actually trust the Government and Governors to be well-intentioned toward the public and in full accord with freedom and liberty? You think they are keeping their oath of office?

As long as he or she isn't orange or related to orange, he or she in office must be totally well-intentioned and only about freedom and prosperity.
