If you accuse someone, and do not provide evidence, it is a false accusation.

Saying "false flag" without providing evidence is being a false witness.

One does what one can, with what one has, I suppose. False witness sometimes worked for Trump, after all.

Type this into your search engine: social media got hacked

Well, show us that he got hacked. Here's something to consider:

According to the Daily Beast, the suspect identified himself as a Trump supporter in a livestream and demanded that Democrats "step down." The suspect expressed his anger toward President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Beast reports, "'I love this land,' the man said in his livestream on Thursday, which was reviewed by The Daily Beast before it was removed. 'We got a few options here, Joe. You shoot me, two-and-a-half blocks go with it. And then, you're talking about revolution? The revolution's on. It's here, it's today. Told my wife I'd be home by Sunday. I'm looking for all my other patriots to come out and help me.' Police couldn't immediately confirm that the bomb was, in fact, operable or that he had a detonator."

So no, he wasn't hacked. Another Trump supporter terrorist. Just that simple.

Saying "false flag" without providing evidence is being a false witness.

Against whom do you pretend this supposed false witness was/wasn't aimed?
a specific person? a group in general? to be found guilty in a court of law?

I really don't think you know what false witness is meant to guard against.
You heard it somewhere, and apply it here... but why? is my question to you.

Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Matthew 19:18 Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Now, let me assure you, that never once has anyone come to my door and asked me what I think happened, at an event I never attended, in order to ask me to come to court and provide my... somewhat flawed witness... so that the perp could be tossed into jail where he would be made to pay every last year he owes to humanity at large. It might have happened to you, though. (shrug)

Then I guess it matters whose ox is being gored. Truth, notwithstanding.

The operative question is: "Is it true?" Where the truth is, doesn't matter.

Well, it does to the extreme right, that's the case with the extreme left, too. For most of us, what matters is the truth.

It's what terrorists do. Go figure.

Only a small fraction of Trump supporters are actually terrorists.

Still interesting.

It's not so much about what works, but that this is a Christian Forum, politicians are expected to lie - However, in the politics of the Kingdom those who love to make up lies are cast outside and not allowed in.

So it is hardly surprising that the North Carolina man brought into custody today for threatening to blow up the Capitol complex with a bomb he claimed to have in the truck he parked in front of the Library of Congress, appears to have taken part in several so-called Stop the Steal rallies, according to Jared Holt of the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab. Those were the rallies of Trump supporters who were convinced by the former president’s lie that the result of the 2020 election was somehow illegitimate.

“The revolution is on, it’s here, it’s today,” the suspect said in a Facebook livestream this morning, demanding that Joe Biden resign the presidency.
...
Facebook shut down his account, but not before Holt had a look at his social media, where the suspect posted about his participation in the rallies organized by far-right operative Ali Alexander and promoted by former White House aide Steve Bannon on the latter’s “War Room” podcast.

And factual. No point in denial.

How is what you read more of a fact than what I read? I know a narcissist who claims whatever he says is fact, and his opposite is not. This should serve as a cautionary tale. Don't let politics make you into a very poor witness to the world... they have more than enough ammo already.

Sorry, no bunny trails. If you think anything reported is false, feel free to show us.

How is what you read more of a fact than what I read?

I read from different sources. So I'm not as easy to fool. Worth a try?

I know a narcissist who claims whatever he says is fact, and his opposite is not.

But he's not president any more. We're not going down that bunny trail, either. Don't let politics make you into a very poor witness to the world.

You'll find that lots of people were looking at his livestream and documenting the fact. This deranged Trump follower is not typical of all Trump followers; he's part of a minority of them who are obeying Trump's orders to "fight like hell" to overturn the election.

Richard Coleman: Yes, the Democrats certainly stole the 2020 election... etc.

Yes, we know various people are pushing the Big Lie. But it won't fly. Even most republican leaders now admit that Biden won fairly.

"Trump claims the election was stolen. The assertions range from specific local allegations to constitutional arguments to sweeping conspiracy theories ... nothing before us proves illegality anywhere near the massive scale – the massive scale – that would have tipped the entire election."
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell

"Well, first of all, the conference will decide but I don't think anybody is questioning the legitimacy of the presidential election," McCarthy replied. "I think that is all over with sitting here with the President today."
House Minority Leader Keven McCarthy

Trump just lied about it. That's not a surprise. He lies about almost everything.

Does it matter to you that I'm not Republican or Democrat or Libertarian, etc.?
Heck, I'm not even blue-eyed... if that matters.

thanks, this was fun

Hi ligurian,

Well, speaking only for myself, what matters isn't anyone's particular party affiliation when it comes to the charge of 'false flag'. What matters is that it often brings about an attitude or understanding that events that happen aren't really what they appear to be...when the truth is generally that they are.

The U.S. didn't aid or perpetrate the 9/11 attacks, but those who believe in the 'false flag' agenda believe that through some nefarious action of their own government, that they did.

The Sandy Hook School shooting wasn't some preplanned government authorized false attack on a school filled with school children, but those who subscribe to the 'false flag' agenda believe in their very heart of hearts that it was. That their very own local or national government has been complicit in attacking its people with murderous outcomes to fulfill some agenda that the 'false flag' believer 'knows' it to be.

It's a fairly new phenomenon that fills the emptiness of conspiracy theorists who just never want to believe that most events are really just as plain and simple as they appear to be. We may not know the perpetrators final intentions or purpose in doing what they do, but it is generally the perpetrator who holds the buck where it stops. They and they alone planned and prepared and carried out whatever murderous or nefarious event happened, but the 'false flag' believer finds it somehow impossible to believe that such a thing is possible. They believe that these national and catastrophic events must be the work of a cabal of folks intent on carrying out some destructive mission of national or global proportions.

That's what really is bothersome about those who cry 'false flag'! 'False flag'!!!! They so want there to be some deeper narrative of evil intent behind the works of lone people who, because of their hatred of others, create such chaos in our cities and towns.

Just as in this account, while the man himself voted Republican and supports the Trumpian Republican agenda, it can't just be about him. No. Not at all. It's that he's really a democrat in disguise, or has been pushed by some left wing democratic pedophile group to go out and do what he did.

God bless,
Ted
