  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's a larger legal question. Not specific to this case. Do we want a society where employers (or anyone) can dictate others must submit to any experimental invasive drug or procedure against his will or will be heavily penalized? Or not?
Forget the larger legal question, how about the largest legal question? Do we want a society where employees (or anyone) can insist that their right to be suspicious of extensively tested and systematically approved drugs should allow them to place others, especially vulnerable others at risk? Or not?

And really, your rhetoric! It is either profoundly ill-informed or cynically constructed to mislead. You refer to an "experimental invasive drug". Can you tell me which drugs are not invasive? It's rather difficult for them to function if they don't "invade" our bodies. Loose or contrived usage such as this is a warning flag. It is duly noted in your case.

Emergency use=approved for use. The pandemic wasn't willing to wait on the usual slow pace of approval.

Did you feel the same way about the "treatments" promoted by the EX President and hucksters like Jim Bakker?

Within 4 minutes of President Trump's announcement of the cure, I had injected bleach, Fabuloso, and UV, then drank 4 bottles of gin only to find out later that the Quinine is in the tonic water. The only noticeable side effect was slight redness at the injection site, which I attributed to the China Virus leaving my body, organ failure, and severe brain damage, but I am free of the virus.

Well, of course. Big tech shuts it down.

I see no reason to believe this claim.

Just last night I was watching a Dr. on t.v. and he made a video concerning some really good outcomes of therapeutics. Prevention as well as treatment if applied early. It was shut down.

If it was shut down, how did you see it?

So apparently, because all the vaccines are still classified as "experimental", it is illegal to force anyone to take it. So it explains why schools and business can require a hepatitis vaccine but cannot require a covid vaccine. The hospital may potentially have 150 lawsuits on its hands.

Hospitals do not exist for the purpose of giving people jobs. Hospitals exist for the purpose of treating illness. Employees are merely the human resources that help hospitals achieve that purpose. If employees aren't willing to be part of helping patients stay well, they aren't helping fulfill the hospital's purpose and, therefore, are no longer needed by the facilty. It's as simple as that.
Except for the small tiny detail that the vaccines are still classified as experimental. Therefore it is illegal in the United States to force anyone to take it.

That is less than clear to me. Employers in the US can generally fire employees for any reason not covered by some specific protection. According to the EEOC, requiring covid vaccination does not (by itself) violate the Americans with Disabilities Act, assuming the employee doesn't have a disability that actually prevents vaccination.

In this case, the "specific protection" is called "the law". Specifically the one which forbids forcing people to take experimental drugs. Not only is this federal law, it was international law created as a result of the Nuremberg trial that revealed the shameful human experiments the Nazis conducted on the Jews.

Nobody's forcing anybody to do anything. Employers in most states have the right to let you go for no reason at all.

Nor are these drugs 'experimental'.

Thank you, Mr. Godwin. We'll see how this issue works its way through the court system.

Not true. All drugs are officially classified as "experimental" until the FDA fully approves it. Last I checked (June 27, 2021),they have not been fully approved. Calls rise for FDA to fully approve COVID-19 vaccines so any statement otherwise (to include fact checkers) are false.

Yes. The court ar Nuremberg ruled that you cannot force people to be experimented. Forcing people to put experimental drugs onto their bodies falls into that category. Legally, the FDA has to give "full approval" on a drug before it is no longer legally considered "experimental". As of June 27, 2021, the FDA has given no such approval to any of the vaccines because of the rate it was rushed through. Thus, it is illegal to force people to get the vaccine or coerce them (threat of termination for example) because they refused to take a covid vaccine. This is exactly why military service members can refuse the vaccine.

So no, no court has ruled that conditioning employment on vaccination constitutes illegal experimentation on human subjects.

I am sure there will be about 150 lawsuits here shortly.

No one is forcing anyone to take it. They are free not to take it and find a job somewhere else.

There may not have been any cases where an employer has tried to mandate taking experimental vaccinations since the Nuremberg trial. America may be the first to try such a thing since then.

Wearing a mask is like a star of David before being loaded on a train. Taking a vaccine that President Trump took is akin to a Dr. Mengele experiment.
Keep it real Republicans, don't ever change.
