"Till we all come in the unity of the faith..." Ephesians 4:13.

I believe that this will happen, as God's WORD says it will...but one is hard pressed to see HOW it will ever happen as one looks around at the so-called Christian world. You don't have to lookfurther than this forum right here. There are OPPOSING beliefs on nearly every subject. It's going to take a miracle for that to change!

I am comforted by the fact that God is building His church even if we are not aware of His progress or are discouraged by the lack of unity. It has always been this way, even when Paul wrote the letter to the Ephesians. I am encouraged by the end of verse 13 where he wrote, "attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." While we are complete in Christ, have been given every spiritual blessing in Christ, and have everything we need for life and godliness, this unity Paul speaks of may not be realized until we are all in the presence of the Lord in eternity. I don't see anything is written that says this "unity of the faith" has to be seen in our physical lifetime. Paul did not experience it. Chances are good that we will not either. Jesus asked, "when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth (Luke 18:8)?" I focus on getting to know more about my God and who I am in Him through my faith in Jesus Christ. The rest will work itself out in time. Grace and Peace.

We will become unity in faith after Jesus returns and the saved are taken to heaven. Complete unity doesn't happen on our current earth .... complete unity will be in heaven and then the new earth God creates .... and yes ... powerful miracles! We have a awesome God.
