If you don't understand the connection I suppose it's pointless to try and explain it to you.

Because all you have is lies?

If there was a reasonable explanation about how knowledge about and research into evolution was intrinsically linked to racism then you could explain it.

As it is, evolution is a reasonable scientific explanation for the diversity of life... attempts to poison the well by pointing out Darwin's racism are irrelevant to the truth.

Should we judge people of past eras for moral failings?
Nah.

We know they did it in spite of the Bible; not with respect to It.

He wasn't racist because of his time period. He was racist because of his belief in the ToE.
And you know this, how? Jay Gould comes to an opposite conclusion:
Another, more powerful, theme rises in Darwin's early writing. Even more than Lincoln, he was deeply offended by slavery. In The Voyage of the Beagle, we read Darwin's horror over an old lady in Brazil who used thumbscrews to punish her slaves. He also wrote,

Picture to yourself the chance, ever hanging over you, of your wife and your little children ... being torn from you and sold to the highest bidder! And those deeds are done ... by men who profess to love their neighbors as themselves ... and pray [God's] Will be done on earth! It makes one's blood boil.

The crusades were a disaster for both sides and the world is still for it today all due to Pope Urban II's hubris, “Deus vult!”

Darwin made the connection but you refuse to even acknowledge it. Interesting. If this is the world we live in, then racism isn't a sin, it's simple logic.

"At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races. At the same time the anthropomorphous apes, as Professor Schaaffhausen has remarked, will no doubt be exterminated. The break will then be rendered wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilised state as we may hope, than the Caucasian and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as at present between the negro or Australian and the gorilla."

By reading his own words.

"I could show fight on natural selection having done and doing more for the progress of civilization than you seem inclined to admit. Remember what risk the nations of Europe ran, not so many centuries ago of being overwhelmed by the Turks, and how ridiculous such an idea now is! The more civilised so-called Caucasian races have beaten the Turkish hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking to the world at no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilized races throughout the world."

YHWH favored his chosen people.
Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

From Adam Clarke's Commentary:
It was no good in them that induced God to choose them at this time to be his peculiar people: he had his reasons, but these sprang from his infinite goodness. He intended to make a full discovery of his goodness to the world, and this must have a commencement in some particular place, and among some people. He chose that time, and he chose the Jewish people; but not because of their goodness or holiness.
Don't think these people had it made in the shade all the time.

God worked them hard -- and when they messed up, they paid a dear price for it.

But along with that came blessings galore.

You are confusing prediction with racism.

You are misinterpreting Darwin. He might have been racist but not in the way you think.

“For my own part I would as soon be descended from that heroic little monkey, who braved his dreaded enemy in order to save the life of his keeper; or from that old baboon, who, descending from the mountains, carried away in triumph his young comrade from a crowd of astonished dogs—as from a savage who delights to torture his enemies, offers up bloody sacrifices, practices infanticide without remorse, treats his wives like slaves, knows no decency, and is haunted by the grossest superstitions.”
― Charles Darwin, The Descent of Man

God is omniscient. Wouldn't he have known that they would mess up?

I wonder if he had any one individual in the Bible in mind when he said that; because I can't think of any single person therein who fits that description.
