Deuteronomy 33:26 There is none like the God of Yeshurun,
Riding the heavens in thy help, and in His excellency the skies.

Yeshurun-the upright ones; from yashar [H3474]=Straight, direct.
As in:
Isaiah 40:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
Prepare the way of the LORD;
Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

The Israel of God is Yeshurun, those who walk the narrow way.
Hebrews 12:
12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,
13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated,
but rather be healed.

Isaiah 44:
1 Yet hear now, O Jacob My servant,
And Israel whom I have chosen.
2 Thus says the Lord who made you
And formed you from the womb, who will help you:
Fear not, O Jacob My servant;
And you, Yeshurun, whom I have chosen.

It is because of God that we are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God–that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. ( based on 1 Corinthians 1:30 )

As a deeper fellowship question: Do you think God is offering deliverance to us today just like he did in your quoted passages?


Zech. 8:22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. 23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

From those who walk uprightly.

The Spirit Of Deliverance

He has given us the power to overcome by The Holy Spirit in us.
1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them,
because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Are you saying that deliverance is from walking uprightly? Or that deliverance is from the Holy Spirit when we get it? Or that we will gain deliverance from Israel?
