This is an act of war.
While I agree that border crossing needs to be managed . . . if someone can say border crossing is an act of war . . . we are talking about individuals who have paid to be trafficked into the United States . . . including so ones can escape the dangers and poverty where they come from.

So, I would say such people are not declaring war on the United States.

So, if a judge used rhetoric like this . . . possibly there is more to this, than concern about border crossing. The agenda might not be primarily about solving the problem.

I was told, once, that Texas was considering seceding from the United States. Well . . . if they were to be so capable of operating on their own . . . I would think they could already have the border under control. So, why don't they?

Could there be a scheme to make Joe look bad? Are ones willing to neglect their obligations, in order to blame it on Joe? I would think any true leader would already be . . . taking the lead . . . in doing what works. But apparently no one has done this . . . not Joe, not people in Texas.

Blaming is not leading, in my opinion.

The United States already has not been taking care of its own problems. So, how ever now is this border thing going to all of a sudden be taken care of?

Already, there has been failure to take care of black people and Native Americans, and others. If people don't have the character to love and care for their own citizens . . . Jesus says, "he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much." (in Luke 16:10)

While Republicans were in power in the White House, Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans. The mayor claimed that Washington guaranteed to take care of New Orleans, but this did not happen. The mayor said he would not trust the federal government, again, but he would make sure New Orleans had its own resources ready.

So, it is not only Democrats who have not taken care of things.

But any person can take the lead in what does work > prayer and example. But this does not guarantee you will be followed by a whole country!! People can not do what is really right, unless they have the character.

AMAC's cover story in their latest magazine is: "Biden's Catastrophe - No End in Sight" - covers the issue of the border crisis.

From their article: "...tangible estimates indicate an illegal alien population of 14.5 million, imposing a measurable cost 0f $133 billion on citizen taxpayers."

...and the secondary tangible costs are even more daunting - "elevated social and tax burdens associated with detention, sanctuary cities, increased homelessness, and affiliation with drug trafficking and gang crime..." - not to mention the increased costs to hire, train, and equip all those tasked with dealing with these issues.

But I dispute their headline - this isn't Biden's Catastrophe, it's the Democrat Party's catastrophe. They own this issue, 110%.

This flood of immigrants isn't an 'act of war' but it is an 'invasion'.

America is governed by committees. Committee members are chosen by popularity, not ability. So there you have it. :(

And, I would say, if someone is qualified to take care of this, such a person might not yet have the info really needed, since he or she is not, maybe, in on everything and it is written >

"He who answers a matter before he hears it,
.It is folly and shame to him."
(Proverbs 18:13)

I'm thinking of something > get clear about why border crossers are wanted in the United States.

For example, there are employers who want people from below the border, maybe because a number them have the discipline to work. And someone I know hired Hispanics who knew how to manage dairy cows. There might be specialists from Hispanic countries, who are not readily found and trained in the U.S.

Of course, employers might not want them to be legal, because they might not want to pay them right and take care of them medically and otherwise.

But . . . maybe . . . they could get migrants to congregate at some point below the border. And process them according to requests by American employers. Have a website, whatever.

And maybe hire some Hispanics to guard the border . . . below the border, in Mexico, before the dangerous crossing area. And use them for intel, undercover. And they get a bonus if this works.

I used to think they could put up a wall, and have residential communities of Hispanics living along the wall, with doggies to keep alert. Dogs can do quite a job of knowing sneaky people are around; so can geese, I am told. They could eat some of the geese, get their eggs. Make it somewhat sustainable according to their culture of origin. And they just live on the border, get paid, discover how to develop things there. It could be like one long town along the border.

But there are the nasty and dangerous drug cartel ones. And they seem to have points where they can tunnel from a Mexican place under the border to a nearby American town or city . . . whatever. But I suppose they could put down underground walling, or detector wiring which exposes any effort to come through with a new tunnel. And have a bonus system for obviously correct reports of tunnels. The locals might have the intel and want some money.

It is widely reported that the cartels are heavily involved in illegal immigration schemes. Their goal, clearly, is the expansion of their drug business here. If we are going to address the immigrant problem we have to address the drug problem here. Drug money has corrupted most of the governments of Central America, bringing misery, poverty, and death to their peoples, which is the driving force behind these migrations. Sadly neither the Dems or Republicans have the stomach for the task, and of course the people wouldn't support such efforts either. We like our drugs too much. The misery, poverty, and death drugs bring to us is a small price to pay for the pleasure and profit they bring to so many.
