Encourage you to go seek these scriptures, and read the context around them to get a even better view of what is going on, who is being talked to, and what is fully being spoken about.

May God and the Lord Jesus Christ lead you by the spirit to truth, and may grace and peace abound unto you and your family because of them.

Matthew 7: 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

Matthew 23:3 Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.

Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

John 7:23 If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?

Romans 2:1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

Romans 2:21 You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?

Galatians 2:1 Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and also took Titus with me.

Titus 1:16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

James 2:15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

1 John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Luke 18

9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:

10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.

11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

These scriptures remind me of being a babe in Christ Jesus. When was a baby, would look at myself as better than others and think they were all just sinners, and wasn’t like me. Was reading my Bible, and praying.

Eventually lost everything, and went crazy in my mind, heart and soul.

Though however Gods grace never let up, and as was exploring and experiencing life, God taught valuable lessons in the context of my own life.

Realized how wrong it was to look down on others, and God continued working on my hard heart, it has changed now. We have freedom from this flesh that likes to act prideful, and haughty, and deceive, others. By the spirit, there is freedom where the Lord reigns and through us, by the spirit induces kindness, gentleness, becoming humble before God realizing everyone is the same and God loves all people, and that is why he sent the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for sharing and hopefully this even helps others understand my own background a bit more.
