There's a *whole* lot of things that have been discussed in fairly open forums on the internet. The indictments will be quite telling and wind deep into the online far right sphere.

I haven't heard or read a word from the FBI. The only thing I've seen from them is that they responded to the Capitol situation.

A check for public statements or confirmed media reporting about the FBI using facial recognition draws a blank. The closest I can get is Matt Gaetz claiming - without evidence - that a "facial recognition company" claimed that Antifa members were masquerading as Trump supports in the Capitol building.
