It's not comparable. That would be like comparing a Honda Civic to a steam train. Just because both transport people does not make them in anyway the same thing.
God created the variety of skin colours, hair and eyes colours and facial features and called them all very good.
Genesis 1:31
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
God also lists sins, which have nothing to do with how people look. God doesn't care how people look on the outside and doesn't judge them for it and nor should Christians.
1 Samuel 16:7
But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
We need to try and have that same attitude. It doesn't matter the skin colour, if someone is fat or thin, if they are crippled, ugly, disabled or unborn, all have the same worth. All are made in the image of God. But this has nothing to do with sin, which is what this topic is about.
Homosexuality is included in that list along with all other sexual sins which include heterosexual fornication and adultery but also small things like bad thoughts and greed to major things like murder and rape.
You are equating homosexuality with race because you don't believe homosexual practice to be sin, but God says it is. You believe it's something good because the majority of the culture that surrounds you thinks the same way. 100 years ago you would not have thought this way because the culture didn't think that way. Culture changes, God does not. The entire culture may decide that couples living together is as good as marriage, but God does not, his views don't change.
All unmarried Christians are called to be celibate.
This has nothing to do with society or the government, it's what God calls his people to do.
