??What does this have to do with Limbaugh?

Limbaugh popularized the term "feminazi" in reference to feminism... although he denies credit for actually coining it.

The question of "why doesn't my daddy love me?" Absolutely NOT. They can provide a nice loving home but they will always wonder about their daddy. Who was he, what was he like? Am I like him?

This is just supposition. There's no good evidence of any significant negative outcomes from same-sex parent households, and there's plenty of evidence of overall net positive benefits.

My guess is that he found out a woman he slept with got pregnant, perhaps by him, and is now angry about her not bearing his child.
Or the opposite - she got pregnant, he didn't want the baby but couldn't force her to have an abortion and it's just not fair that she could opt for an abortion if he wanted to keep the baby.

More like something I was thinking about. My own dad being absent after mom saying "leave and never come back" yes, he cheated and knocked up a younger woman but I still needed a dad.

EDIT:Dad's health is going down so......thinking about stuff
Ok so this isn’t about feminazis, it’s about you and your mom...

??What does this have to do with Limbaugh?

As for female Nazi's in Portland - uh, I dunno - i see lots of pictures of females dressed in black, occasionally carrying flags, often armed in some form, doing equivalent to a "Kristallnacht" on minority owned businesses in the city.

You judge:

Kristallnacht the next day:

Portland the next day:

There are some similarities

Good grief! He really denies it?? He used it all the time. If he heard it from someone else it was probably from a "nobody" (like a caller) and he just took their "idea".

I was using the word as a comedic term to describe dysfunctional hypocritical women who think men are irrelevant.

I apologize if I misused the word and deplore the actions of those women. Perhaps I will not use that word in the future. There is nothing comical about Naziism.

EDIt: Admittidly it was "clickbait." Apologies for any offense in regard to making light of a violent hate group.

It's not a comedic term. It's a derogatory and misogynistic term used against women and as a mockery of feminism in general. While you may have intended it to be funny, it doesn't at all come across that way to those who are frequently targets of it simply for existing as female.

From the "feminazi" wikipedia page (yes, it has one):

"Feminazi is a portmanteau of the nouns feminist and Nazi.[1] According to The Oxford Dictionary of American Political Slang, it refers (pejoratively) to "a committed feminist or a strong-willed woman".[2] The American conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who popularized the term,[3][4][5] credited the university professor Thomas Hazlett with coining it.[4][6] Limbaugh began to use the term in 1992.[7]"

I was born in a time when mothers on the fringe were just starting to say "I don't need a man."

However, in the new millennium, this attitude has shifted to the mainstream as more than half of marriages fail and it feels like even more couples go their separate ways when a child is on the way. I have heard women literally say "my child doesn't need a father."

If you were born in the 50s and 60s, then you were born in an era where western culture was that predominantly women stayed at home to look after the children. Overwhelmingly, they did not have post-highschool education; indeed if you were coloured you didnt even have the right to access higher education. That meant should a marriage be violent, or acrimonious, the woman was trapped as she had no financial means and education to support herself and her family. On top of that, religions (christian or other) had doctrines that reinforced that women should remain silent, be obedient, and were not supportive of women in instances of domestic violence. Indeed the law didnt (and still doesnt) deal with domestic violence. Women are still murdered or battered at atrocious rates in your country and mine.

Well times have changed - women dont need to put up with abuse - and if the male spouse abandons them (as is not uncommon) they can carry on and support their children. This is a good thing - its not something to be afraid of as you seem to be.

Well honey, yes he/she does!

Now your just being patronising - and perhaps why you may have had negative experiences in this area. The fact you are attaching the word "Nazi" to women seems to suggest you have a poor attitude toward women and so Im not surprised some women might not be fond of you attitude and/or behaviours.

If you are not ready to have a baby that's fine. Then don't engage in the act of making a baby.

I thought this was about a woman caring for her children on her own - now your on about abortion - you are having trouble sticking to your own topic.

Can someone please tell us why fathers are now optional when for about a million years they were essential?

See above - women dont have to put up with abuse or drunkards or men who are a burden not a bonus.

Is he bitter? You bet'cha! The neo-feminist agenda is castrating men.

Yes - well if you perhaps improve your attitude, seek counselling, you may have a more positive outlook

Uh-oh, he done gone and said it!
Yeah you did. I got a chuckle.

I was born in a time when mothers on the fringe were just starting to say "I don't need a man." There is truth to that in terms of survival. A woman can finance a childhood on her own, especially an educated, experienced woman.
I believe it is optimal and easier to raise a child in a two parent, man, woman relationship. Raising children can be time consuming, challenging financially and take a lot of patience for any parent, more so if single. I also believe little boys and girls need good role models.

However, in the new millennium, this attitude has shifted to the mainstream as more than half of marriages fail and it feels like even more couples go their separate ways when a child is on the way. I have heard women literally say "my child doesn't need a father." Well honey, yes he/she does!
True, more than half of second and third marriages do fail. It’s 42% for first marriage. Divorce rates US; Experts put the chances of a married couple getting divorced at 42% (down from 50% in the 1980s).
The divorce rate for second marriages is 60% and 73% for third marriages.
US div Rates

Women can get pregnant through consensual sex and eliminate the result of that consensual sex without the father's consent or knowledge. If you are not ready to have a baby that's fine. Then don't engage in the act of making a baby. An ounce of prevention and all that.
Agree. But apparently a hard sell.

Can someone please tell us why fathers are now optional when for about a million years they were essential?
Science, technology. Men can adopt our find a surrogate mother for the purpose of providing a child. Making a baby takes no special skills, rats do it, roaches, pigs, mongoose, etc.. God provided the necessary “science” in the beginning.

Is he bitter? You bet'cha! The neo-feminist agenda is castrating men.
I don’t feel castrated. That last sentence may be the reason so many here jumped on the P.C. B. S. Response. Misandrist, misogynist. Labels sheep bleat about.

BTW: We could do a whole other thread about "why are men abandoning their children?" One soapbox at a time.
I presume you knew the water you were wading into. Not exactly how I would have phrased it, but perhaps on this topic shallow thinkers will respond emotionally until reflecting a little longer and respond to what you actually said and not how they feel.
This is a much deeper and complex topic than I think will be addressed here. It deals with core issues of; Autonomy, Respect of said, Maturity, Hormones, The list can go on…
I may get negative responses. Meh.

Is that is a bad thing?

Eh, it is what it is. But he doesn't have to blame all of feminazidom if it's true that he and his partner were not on the same page when it came to unplanned pregnancies. Maybe a bit more communication about whether they shared worldviews would have been of value before they started fornicating recreationally.

If this what you think a healthy family should look like then shame on you.

If this isn't what you think a healthy family should look like, then shame on you.

How many same-sex parents do you know?

I know a same sex couple with kids in my neighborhood. They are far better parents than the average heterosexual parents.

That has to be the most convenient answer in the world.

It worked for Trump with respect to a quarter of a million dead Americans, so it will do nicely for my own lack of interest in how the OP should feel about his own private affairs. He's entitled to his own feelings.
