  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

trump and his son have declared they have won Pennsylvania whilst during to stop the counting of the million remaining votes.

Trump team falsely declares victory in Pennsylvania
Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is falsely declaring victory in the key swing state of Pennsylvania, which remains too close to call.

Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien said on a press call, “We are declaring a victory in Pennsylvania.”

The president’s son echoed that message in a tweet:

Eric Trump(@EricTrump)
We have won Pennsylvania!

November 4, 2020
Fact-check: Trump has not won Pennsylvania as of now, and more than 1 million valid ballots must still be counted in the state.

Election analysts have said, based on the results seen so far, that Joe Biden is on track to win the state.

I'm quite sure that Pennsylvania has not been decided, regardless of what the Trump bunch would like everyone to believe. Biden has been declared the winner in Wisconsin and it looks good for him in Michigan. It will all be over soon except (of course) for Trump's challenges in the courts. I'm quite certain that he will lose those challenges and Biden will, at last, be declared the winner.

Thoroughly enjoying this election - and even though I'm British, I still can't seem to come away from it. It's got a sort of 'Ashes 2005' feeling to it. Or like a Sunday at The Masters.

Ahem! We'll have no mention of that Test series, thank you very much! :)

Sooo, the Trump team did NOT actually declare victory in Pennsylvania. (?)

Okay. That doesn't seem to deserve a new thread, but thanks for the update (I guess).

Might be correct. Eric's the brains behind that team, isn't he?

The point is they are using legal action in all the battleground states to delay the counts past the deadline, like they did in 2000. Relying on a republican supreme court to support them like then.

It looks good for Trump in Pennsylvania.
So long as he succeeds in disenfranchising almost a million us citizens from the cities who's mail in votes are yet to be counted. But hey electoral. Fraud is fine when it's your guy.

Not really. His lead is down to just over 300,000 from 700,000 this morning, and with plenty of mail-in ballots left to count. Those have been going to Biden at a rate of about 3 to 1. If that holds up, it's going to be neck and neck by the time the count is finished.

Which is why they will delay the count in the courts until the deadline. Then have the court rule they can't be counted since the deadline has passed.

Has Michigan been confirmed yet? If so, that would definitely bring up 264.
The Trump campaign and Arizona governor are declaring that Trump has a 30000 majority in Arizona, the declaration for Boden is false.

...depends which source you are citing for "confirmed"

For example:
AP & FOX called Arizona for Biden over 12 hours ago. CNN has not.
Which is interesting does CNn know something, in regard to the Arizona governor saying the data indicates a 30000 majority trump win.
