That's Mordecai the bluejay from the animated series Regular Show.
That's what I thought my bird was looking back, a blue jay but when I looked in a bird book the bird I had was huge in comparison maybe the size of an owl or large parrot. Makes me feel bad that I could not remember its kind like I didn't have any care for him. It was illegal to sale them back them so someone charged 15 with some other reason other then selling it as they couldn't keep it. It was a wonderful bird and ate minah pellets. I don't remember why I had to lose him, I think we were moving. I need to shut up, lol.
Blessings!

I'm at the office setting up a dozen laptops.
Probably will go grocery shopping on the way home.
After dinner I want to test out some online photo-sharing sites so I can show off my bird pictures.
Then I will procrastinate writing more of a story I'm working on.

Sounds like a busy day. I used to belong to one of those but I wish they would have some way to post pics from personal computers so we wouldn't have to use a site. What are you planning for dinner? I like to ask people what they are eating, lol.

I don't think you can legally keep bluejays as pets.
Maybe it was a Hyacinth Macaw or Blue-And-Gold Macaw.

Whatever is on sale. I'm not a very good cook.

How do I plug a hole in an aluminum pan and still be able to bake in it without having to solder it?

Heliarc it, a welding process for aluminum.

And coincidently, it's also known as Hell arc.

I've had macaws, my favorite exotic. It was a nature bird. Not an exotic or a bird you would find in a pet store or for sale anywhere. I just happen to find it in the ads.

So what is everyone up to today?

My first two classes of the day were indoors, because it was cloudy and soggy, but the sun has come out, so Webex and I are going to go outside and teach my third class from a lawn chair in my back yard.

There's a lot that's bad about remote education, but a positive is that I get to enjoy the sun and breeze while I teach the trees about parameter passing.

In reference to the OP, I'll do my best to deliver a lecture that does not remind my students of the Bad Place. :)

I just kicked my home PCs all up to Win 10 2004 and somewhat shockingly didn't die. I think 20H2 (ugh pick a versioning system and stick with it) has some pretty big changes coming.

I dualboot between windows and Linux on my main gaming PC these days.

So what is everyone up to today?
I have a large garden where I grow a lot of vegies. Fall time is really when the garden season begins. That's the time to build up the soil for the spring planting. Over the years I've built up connections with nearby Horse stables, and today I'm off to pick up another load load of manure. This will be my 4th pickup load. I like the shavings that come with it as they add organic material at the same time.

It sounda like you are saying solder won't work? or a soldering gun?

Exactly, I dont believe solder will stick. And I wasnt really serious about the heliarc. Although that does weld aluminum, its far from cost affective in this case.

Best bet, get another pan. Or if the pan is very expensive, you might try some jb weld. Its like a very hard epoxy, but youd need to make sure its not toxic.

Depends where the hole is located, if is on a flat piece of the pan.

Why not patch it instead of plugging it,
blindrivettt in place a patch.

I've used jb weld but I thought with baking for 6 hrs it could possibly melt. I only used the pan once, I refuse to buy another one until I get my use out of it, lol. Maybe I will see something at the store I can use. I doubt what you and the op's suggestions would be at a grocer, lol. I will try the solder just in case it decides it will work. Getting the metal hot is the secret to getting it to stick but as you said not on aluminum maybe.
Thanks

Thats a good idea but it is a knife wound so...It is on the bottom. If it was round a screw would have worked. Haven't heard of a blindrivettt. What's it look like, maybe I have one lying around?
Thanks for the suggestion:)

I use that at work to patch ULD's (the aluminum cans pkgs are loaded/transported in). That stuff is razor sharp.
That's funny, I was writing my post the same time you were writing yours and they basically are the same. Thanks!

As you said . . . maybe stuffing it with aluminum foil. Plus, you can line the inside of the pan with foil, maybe with a couple extra layers only near the hole, for a little bit of strength. And put another pan under the pan, just in case there is a leak.

What can we do to get you back to God So you never have to think about it again?
example with prayer

I have solder
Already, it has been said that solder might not bind, plus it might have chemical/s which are not healthy.

I am baking a ham today because I feel like having ham.
It seems you might feel like hamming it up :)
