This thread is dedicated to testimonies of finding the Peace of Christ, in the midst
of a troubling time or season. With prayers that in this current world situation, you
are found In Christ and at Rest.
Isaiah 55:
12 For you shall go out with joy,
And be led out with peace;
The mountains and the hills
Shall break forth into singing before you,
And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,
And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;
And it shall be to the Lord for a name,
For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
The Lord allowed me to retire two years ago and provided living arrangements
in which I was very isolated, and I understood by prayer that I was being given
a season to reflect and write a few essays. Then the pandemic and lockdown started,
with people living in quarantine and isolation. I experienced absolutely no change in
my lifestyle as a result. I just kept going in the situation and circumstances the Lord
had pre-arranged for me months in advance. I found great Peace and a blessed
assurance that He saw to my needs in advance as I had been seeking His Will for
a new stage in my life.
