How do we explain the movement of the sun eastward across the sky by day, and stars by night? And if you look at the sunrise from different perspectives (Like day...NY and the equator), the sun rises from a different angle. If you’re on the equator, it looks as though the sun is rising vertically

As mentioned in the ice wall post, many believe that there is an ice wall at each “edge” of the planet, that NASA patrols. If the earth is flat, then we would be able to see pretty far. Surely a 150-foot ice wall is taller than any obstacle in our way, so we could see it. Also, ships coming over the horizon. There may be obstacles on land, but the ocean is just a large expanse, and unless there’s an enormous tidal wave, there are not different water levels. (I’m talking height-wise, it’s pretty obvious that there’s different depths in the ocean.)

But how could a picture of Earth NOT require Photoshopping? A picture of Earth would be pretty dark, isn’t it by complete necessity that they need to photoshop color into it or else the picture would be useless since you couldn’t make anything outl? To photoshop an image is to alter the image, not to totally invent an image. And that photo of Earth that necessarily requires Photoshopping due to it being pitch black is a photo of a spherical object.

You should look at his own words concerning how the image was made. He didn't start with a spherical object. He started with strip satellite photos and then stitched them together and then filled in the blanks. He even mentions that he made the earth the way he 'imagined' it would look. He didn't know. That pic is nothing more than the result of someone else's imagination.

Because there was no spacecraft at that time the correct distance away to get a full shot.

Really, what is your argument here? Composite shots exist, so unedited shots don't?

So why does a drop of water look like a flat disk? The earth looks the same way from the moon. The earth is a huge "drop" of atmosphere sitting on a flat surface. The atmosphere is the curve, not the surface of the earth.

Why would a photo of Earth be dark ? The sun shines on it ...
I’m glad that I came in here, I got a bad assumption straightened out. It does seem totally obvious that a photo of Earth would be lit because of the sun, and that was what I originally believed. Ironically a long time ago it was because of rarely running into a YouTube flat Earth argument that I just made an assumption that from space Earth must be dark. Maybe by coincidence every flat Earth argument I saw had the photoshopped complaint front & center, so without giving it too much thought I assumed that their main argument had to have an explanation behind it, and I just thought to myself that the explanation must be that it’s too dark for unaltered pictures. It wasn’t too weird for me to make that bad assumption because I knew that the moon is totally lit from space yet if standing anywhere on its surface it’s dark because it doesn’t have an atmosphere like ours to keep the light contained, so I figured that the Earth’s special atmosphere must cause the opposite effect (light from inside its atmosphere but dark looking at it from outside the atmosphere). It was just an attempt to try to understand the other side’s argument, where they are coming from. Wow it turns out that for years flat Earthers faked me out on this one, so for many years I was assuming that every single space photo of Earth had color photoshopped into it by necessity.

Is it a legitimate phrase to say
“Wow I got flat Earthed” lol?

The ice wall which keeps the oceans from spilling off the sides (of earth), of course ....
Antarctica is the land that keeps the oceans in place. It is land, not ice. Ice just covers the land. If a human walks the coast line of Antarctica, they would have walked the longest continuous length of land on earth. It should take about 8 times longer, than a walk from Siberia, across to Alaska, and down to the tip of South America. Antarctica is not a perfect "circle", nor a perfect square. The north pole is the center. No matter the shape, flat or globe, the distance to Antarctica is roughly the same no matter which direction you leave the north pole.

Flat earthers will say that fifth graders are brainwashed ...

My argument was to agree with NASA in this case, that the Blue Marble shot is a CGI composite of strip satellite photos.

A drop of water doesn't look like a flat disk.

They look like the 3D globs of water moving across the flat surface in the video ...

That is what the earth looks like from the moon. The only difference is there is no motion.

The problem you have is that only a couple of continents are visible at any time, but over the course of 24 hours all of the continents will have passed through your view. From space, the atmosphere is an extremely thin layer relative to the earth, which has next to no effect on light reflected off the earth's surface. Bending of light only occurs when looking at a tangent to the earth's surface as there is much more air to pass through combined with the pressure gradient as you move away from the earth's surface.
