This is somewhat true.


Most gelatin used in commercial food products is from pigs, such as wine & gummy candies, and even some supplements use gelatin capsules derived from pigs

unfortunately, wine makers don’t have to list what ingredients they use.. but honest companies will tell you if you ask them...

Well, there's always going with vegan wines, then. They don't use any animal-based fining elements. Now, I'm not a vegan (Baruch HaShem!), but I figure that a vegan wine can alleviate the concerns while offering a few more options.

Gelatin can be made from many different sources of collagen.

And very much doubt that wine has any such ingredients
