The word of God encourages Believers to listen to His voice and to follow His direction.. but when a 'Believer' listens to a voice from his mind that doesn't contradict the Word of God, however, the same voice doesn't convict him of his sins, can he draw up a conclusion that the voice he has been listening to can't be the voice of God, will God through the Holy Spirit not convict him of his sins, will he be made to feel like a saint while still living in sin, if truly it is the voice of the Lord he hears?

I've been led to this scripture

'That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ . . . If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth (1 John 1:3 , 6 ).'

This means it can't be the Holy Spirit. Thanks.

My experience has been that He usually speaks to our spirit rather than our mind.

It is the peace that passes all understanding that is to be the judge of all things in your heart.

I will not act on a train of thought in the mind without a confirming peace in the heart.

Is the person you are concerned about continuing in known sin without conviction?

If that is the case, better to pray and maybe fast for them, agree with others for a break through.

It is possible to be deceived and blind to the deception - even the saved can be misled...

Maybe also read Gal 6:1-2

There is a Coptic Orthodox series on Spiritual Direction that I have listened to and will probably listen to yet again (going through a major life transition time). The basic starting point is What is God's moral (found in the Bible) will and what is God's Providence (the things that we see God doing or allowing in spite of our prayers and efforts, and the various conditions etc. that we have in life that we cannot change etc.), that is 95% of God's Will for your life.

At another point, in the video series he talks about 3 parameters in a person's life needed to find God's will, the second one I believe is "What sin's are you committing.... Write them down. If you cannot think of anything, write down Pride."

Yes, he is continuing in known sin of anger, rage, hot temper and perversion, although he thinks that he is without sin, he thinks he's holy.

When the Lord first started talking to me, he didn't list all my sins! Interestingly, neither do we see Jesus doing that in the gospels.

That's why the Lord will send YOU to remind him (or her) that the Word of God has other things for him to consider than just those things he has thus far been willing to consider ... ;)

So, if someone you know is supposedly a Christian but is consistently full of anger, rage, hot temper and perversion, and he still thinks he's without sin and is holy, you'll need to address that issue with him and specifically discuss with him where he's still needing "some work" done in his heart. I'm pretty sure that his 'voices' aren't the Lord, but rather his own wishful thinking. It happens!

But He forgave sins and told those he healed and delivered to 'go and sin no more'

To my knowledge this only happened twice among all the occasions he healed or otherwise dealt with people. What about all the many other occasions when he didn't make that instruction?

'Holy' Spirit, he's Holy, if he doesn't try to make you Holy by convicting you of your sins, it's unlikely the 'Holy Spirit' dwelling in you.

I didn't say he doesn't convict us of sin, of course he does. But He does that in his own time, when and where necessary, and does so throughout our lives.
God's prime motivation is to draw us with love, not condemn us.
