Last week was awful for me. I'm hopeful this week will be better.

I hope so for you too! Mine was a mix. Next week certainly could be better. I hope so in general for the rest too.

Every day is a good day. You just have to look harder for the good on some days.

Mine has gone well enough. I'm grateful to still have work. My garden needs some rain. But it looks like we might get some in the next day or two.

That's true. I was having that sort of conversation with a coworker at church last night. I was telling him back when this all started. After the first week or so. I took a step back and thought about what good could be happening during the chaos. And realized one big thing is the world had to slow down. We are such a busy people these days. We don't take much thing to relax sometimes. As well as families have had to spend more time with each other. While I know for some families that isn't always a good thing. It is for many others.

I took a step back and thought about what good could be happening during the chaos. And

I agree that this can have some good outcomes. I think it has given folks a chance to consider the things that really matter. Whether many have done that might be a different story. For myself, it has been good. I have been taking stock and some things have been clarified for me. Some good changes have come about for me precisely because I was forced to slow down and consider some things. God is good.

My wife and I were able to take a desperately needed long weekend so we did a road trip. Well it only took a day and a half back to work to suck the little peace I gained during that time. And to top it off a metal channel came down off of the gate I was working on and smacked me right on the head. Truthfully I know it could of been a lot worse so I’m counting my blessings.
