  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What did you last eat?!

Finally got around to making avocado toast for Little Miss.
Avocado toast... on cheese bread (from the bakery) with extra virgin olive oil, avocado, lemon juice, sea salt, pepper, garlic powder, chives, thyme and smoked gouda cheese with orange juice. It was so good!

How? Together? Separately? Sequentially?

Kangaroo mince, red kidney beans and sliced pickled jalapenos.
Unfortunately, the eggs were too difficult to pick apart after being scrambled. The pear slices, however, were eaten sequentially for desert.

I've never had kangaroo before. What does it taste like?

I see - I was wondering if it was some sort of egg and pear omelette...

I've heard it described as gamey, but I don't find that - it's just like really lean beef to me e.g. the mince I just had was way drier than the leanest beef mince I can get ("95% lean")

I haven't eaten just yet, but I'm about to boil some frozen taro.
