Why Reformed Christians do not and cannot affirm images of Christ

This is something I've personally struggled with, I love art and religious images however, I see the wisdom in avoiding them. At the very least avoiding the use of images during worship.

Is this viewpoint held by all Reformed churches equally? I ask because I was raised Presbyterian (though I obviously didn't stay there), and I remember seeing on the walls of the little church in which I grew up banners with images of the Holy Spirit as a dove, in keeping with traditional interpretations of scripture (Matthew 3:16, Luke 3:22). If what the gentleman in the video says is true, or at any rate taken to be the Reformed view, then why wouldn't that also apply to images of the Holy Spirit, Who is after all also God? Or does it? Was the Presbyterian church I was raised in wrong for having those banners?J

It is the confessionally Reformed view on images. Mainstream or liberal churches may not adhere to the confessional teachings of the Reformed churches and have images but this would not be in line with Reformed teaching.
