Then your god is a failure. If he were omniscient and omnipotent, he could not have failed. Therefore, your god is either NOT omniscient or NOT omnipotent or not either.HE did already...
So what evidence did you determine falsified the teleological argument? You don't get the point. If god actually exists then there has to be evidence that would convince me he does exist. You are under the belief that we can choose our beliefs. I think this is wrong. I cannot choose to believe my dog does not exist, there is too much evidence that he does.
Can god not tell you what to tell me that would be convincing to me?
And that is unconvincing for many reasons.Yes, and has already said...
You will find what HE said here:
John 20:29
Are you ready to confront Him with this argument? Then your god is a failure. If he were omniscient and omnipotent, he could not have failed. Therefore, your god is either NOT omniscient or NOT omnipotent or not either.
I don't know but God should be able to convince me right? Please enlighten me as to how you would believe it was God speaking to you?
There's nobody to confront. You're begging the question. Threats are not arguments. Are you ready to confront Him with this argument?
Actually, maybe you should direct this question to Tinker Grey from post 607? I would, however, be interested in these events or dreams which led you to the conclusion that it wasn´t god speaking to you after all. What are we talking about. When I thought God spoke to me through a dream?
What if He has already given you enough significant evidence and you have chosen not to believe it?If your god is omniscient, he'd know what to say. If he's omnipotent, he could say it. If he were good, he would.
I didn't mean it as an argument. There's nobody to confront. You're begging the question. Threats are not arguments.
Oh HE didn´t fail. Then your god is a failure. If he were omniscient and omnipotent, he could not have failed. Therefore, your god is either NOT omniscient or NOT omnipotent or not either.
One does not choose to believe or not believe. Either he can convince me or he cannot. What if He has already given you enough significant evidence and you have chosen not to believe it?
I don't want to change the truth I want to know what is true from what is false. No sir...HE didn´t fail...in fact HE did everything that was said HE would do...
Itś just that there will be those who will and those who won´t believe
It doesn´t change the TRUTH sir...the TRUTH will remain the TRUTH...regardless
there is plenty of evidence, but you disregard it.I don't know but God should be able to convince me right?
Do you just think that people should believe you when you say something?Oh HE didn´t fail.
You don't believe you have anything to do with that? One does not choose to believe or not believe. Either he can convince me or he cannot.
No. It is unconvincing to me. I don't disregard anything out of hand like you are suggesting. It took me two years or so to deconvert and it was an unwilling and emotionally painful process. So, no I did not just disregard evidence I investigated the evidence and found it unconvincing.there is plenty of evidence, but you disregard it.
I just said that one does not choose to believe or not. Either the evidence is convincing or it is not. Either your god can provide that or it cannot. You don't believe you have anything to do with that?
Indeed. I left the faith reluctantly perhaps even unwillingly. I left my family and friends dismayed. I lost some of those friends. This was not something I chose. It's what I had to do to maintain my integrity.No. It is unconvincing to me. I don't disregard anything out of hand like you are suggesting. Do you still believe even the slightest that HE is who HE says HE is?Indeed. I left the faith reluctantly perhaps even unwillingly. I left my family and friends dismayed. I lost some of those friends. This was not something I chose. It's what I had to do to maintain my integrity.
