  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Biden might be in trouble.

Actually, ... candidates dropped out AFTER Biden had won a number of primaries ...
I think you mean that the majority of his opponents dropped out then. The Wikipedia summary reports as follows: "Seven major candidates had withdrawn from the race after states began to certify candidates for ballot spots: Joe Sestak, Steve Bullock, Kamala Harris, Julián Castro, Marianne Williamson, Cory Booker, and John Delaney.[20] Three others dropped out after the New Hampshire primary."

Biden had won no primaries prior to that, not in three different runs at the presidential nomination of his party.

All of Biden's serious competition dropped out AFTER he decisively won the South Carolina and/or following primaries ... Klobachar, Buttigieg, Bloomberg, Warren, and Sanders ....

Most analysts would say that Kamala Harris and Cory Booker were indeed "serious" challengers.

South Carolina was Biden's first victory. It wasn't after"a number of primaries" that the stream of opponents dropping out made his nomination look inevitable.

Harris and Booker's campaigns had financial issues which caused them to drop out.

And Biden's most serious competition, Sanders and Warren, ... dropped out AFTER Biden had won a NUMBER of primaries ....

Well, I've heard when you have that kind of magnetism, you can grab ladies by their privates and they just let you. You can do anything.
Have you ever been out clubbing all night?
Sweat and pheromones, liquor and drugs, hormones rushing, sexy ladies, fertility dancing.
Why do you think they have vending machines with condoms in night clubs?

A 1993 clip from CNN's "Larry King Live" has been unearthed, which features the mother of Biden accuser Tara Reade asking for advice on how to address her "problems" working with a prominent senator, as nobody in Washington would help her.

No idea how credible this is.
I see she got fired at Elle for accusing Trump in an article.

What does that have to do with the topic of the thread?

Biden has dementia
That this is allowed and any criticism of the president's mental capabilities (or state) is not allowed says an awful lot about editorial policy. I'm not criticizing. The owners of the site have every right to have their policies. However, it very difficult to understand them, other than from a political perspective.

Here in the US, ... we're dealing with some issues of where certain women are disclosing that they have been "handled" ... without any explicit consent given.

So ... whether a woman, particularly who has made such an accusation, ... has given consent ... has become a big issue here ...

Neither Elle, nor E. Jean Carroll draw any connections between the canceling of her contract, ... and the rape accusation leveled at Trump.

Except, perhaps, that she didn't offer the story to Elle first ...

I bet there are..

It's important to pick the right place to go party.

I don't know what it's like nowadays, though.
Young men's minds ruined by porn, reducing the desired gender into mere penetrable objects?
Entitled young women tempting men and punishing them for being tempted?

It was good, mutual fun in my day.
Like a happy hunter, chasing females who basically decided if they wanted to be 'conquered'.
Guys who went to far got to know the bouncers..

A godless lifestyle though, of which i'm not proud anymore.
The hangovers were horrible too..

So that men can do things regardless of the consent of their partners?????

Just a reminder of what the thread topic is

The readers will note, there is nothing stated, nor has to do with the President.

In fairness, the topic is whether Biden is in trouble in the election, as a result of this allegation and recent potential evidence, right? Therefore, a number of dynamics surrounding the election come into play, but especially how Biden's actions hurt his election chances. Well when most people only think in terms of the two candidates the main parties put forward, then they are going to weigh their choices, and Trump's record, including his moral record, will be compared to Biden's.

Again I note, it is not too late to say we don't need either person with a history of making women uncomfortable with their comments, touch, etc.

If this issue is a deal-breaker for a person, then vote for someone who doesn't have this issue. If it is not a deal-breaker for a person, then what difference at this point does it make, to borrow a quote.
