1.) YHWH said his Moedim are to be observed forever

The Moedim (moe-eh-DEEM - "Appointed Times"), are typically called, "Jewish holidays" but in the Bible are referred to as God's feast days.

So what exactly am I not doing?

I don't know if you are keeping them or not.

I'm surprised at how many seasoned Christians in this forum don't recognize the word Moedim.

It's plural for Moed.

Here they are again:

Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Shavuot, Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Tabernacles.

Thanks. And where are the commands to continue keeping them?

Again the Early Church observed them. Do you need proof?
No. I said "they are not given to Christians to observe". If somebody in history made a choice to observe them, its his struggle, not mine.

Which Christians, Ger toshav, Ger tzedek, or both?

Christians are those who are in Christ, born again, John 3:3 and have eternal life, Romans 6:23, John 3:36.
Anyone who has been reconciled with God, Romans 5:11, received forgiveness of sin, Ephesians 1:7 and believes in Jesus is a child of God, John 1:12, Romans 8:16.

That's seriously weak.

Considering that the Early church was observing them; it would be fair to assume that they were given to them.

To assume something just from somebody's practice without any given inspired order is weak.

And its also against any syllable in the New testament that stresses our freedom in Christ.

The early church were all Jewish; I, personally, am not.
Jesus has fulfilled the law and the feasts.

Ger Toshav (sojourner) weren't required to keep the Moedim. In fact a ger toshav (sojourner) could not keep Passover unless he was circumcised.

This is what James was referring to in Acts 15:

(CLV) Ec 1:9
What occurred once, it shall occur again, And what was done, it shall be done again. There is nothing at all new under the sun.

(CLV) Ac 15:20
but to write an epistle to them to be abstaining from ceremonial pollution with idols, and prostitution, and what is strangled, and blood.

Leviticus 17
7 No longer shall they sacrifice their sacrifices to hairy goat-demons after whom they have been prostituting. An eonian statute shall this become for them throughout their generations. 8 To them you shall say:Any man from the house of Israel or from the sojourners who sojourn in your midst who should offer an ascent offering or a sacrifice 9 and not bring it to the opening of the tent of appointment to offer it to Yahweh, that man will be cut off from his kinsmen. 10 As for any man from the house of Israel and from the sojourners sojourning in your midst who should eat any blood, I will set My face against the soul eating blood, and I will cut him off from among his people, 11 for the soul of the flesh, it is in the blood, and I Myself have assigned it to you to make a propitiatory shelter over your souls on the altar; for the blood, in the soul it makes a propitiatory shelter. 12 Therefore I say to the sons of Israel:No soul at all of you shall eat blood; nor shall the sojourner sojourning in your midst eat blood. 13 Any man from the sons of Israel and from the sojourners sojourning in your midst who hunt a game animal or a flyer which may be eaten will pour out its blood and cover it with soil, 14 for the soul of all flesh is its blood; as its soul is it. So I said to the sons of Israel:The blood of any flesh you shall not eat, for the soul of all flesh, it is its blood. Everyone eating it shall be cut off.

Jesus has fulfilled the law and the feasts.

Until this evening I thought that the Spring Moedim had been completely fulfilled (not the fall Moedim). In the process of studying for this thread; I read a verse that I have read countless times before. I hadn't looked at that verse closely enough before.

(CLV) Lk 22:14
And when the hour came, He leans back at table, and the twelve apostles with Him.

(CLV) Lk 22:15
And He said to them, "With yearning I yearn to be eating this passover with you before My suffering.

(CLV) Lk 22:16
For I am saying to you that under no circumstances may I be eating of it till it may be fulfilled in the kingdom of God."

Stay tuned! Apparently there's more to come!

The problem with looking at some isolated verse "more closely" is that you must ignore the context more.

Jesus means forever.
Being born again means forever.
In English, "forever" means "eternal" or "eternity"
But for ever (two words) means until the end of time.

Interesting hey?

Now I wonder which "forever / for ever" the Jewish holidays are?

I'm not Jewish, but a friend of mine was till she died.
Now I no longer remember about her holidays.
Other Christians may have had the same experience. So that would explain that.

1.) YHWH said his Moedim are to be observed forever
2.) Yahshua kept YHWH's Moedim

3.) Yahshua's hand picked Apostles kept YHWH's Moedim, even after his ascension.
4.) The Early ecclesia kept YHWH's Moedim for hundreds of years.
5.) Orthodox Churches keep YHWH's Moedim to this day
6.) YHWH's Moedim will be kept in the Kingdom to come.

So why do many Christians ignore YHWH's Moedim?
Google "three uses of the Law". All shall be revealed. At least from the Protestant side of things :p.

The use of the word "forever" in the Bible is really various and we must always look at the context. For example:

"To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, LORD my God, brought my life up from the pit."
Jonah 2:6

Jonah says that he was in the fish "forever", but in the next sentence he says that God took him from it.

So, this use of "forever" is not scientific, technical, but he is just expressing how it seemed to him to be there - like a forever (and it was actually just 3 days).
