Do you talk down to them as well?

On the forums, words can be taken to be read the wrong way. Also, it is not wrong to correct others on the Word of God. Also, God knows my heart, mind, and thoughts. I am commanded to love even my enemies, but sometimes we have to take a stand for truth. This can seem like it is hurtful to do so, but it is not. I do not have any hatred towards anyone when I stand for what I believe is correct in God's Word.

I will let the Lord be my judge, dear sir.

Blessings to you in the Lord today.

Jesus essentially was saying that if you do not believe He is the "I am," you will die in your sins. The word "he" is not the Greek in John 8:24.
Seems like a GRAND omission that it isn't included in the gospel then, right?

It makes you uncomfortable with the label Trinitarian, I suppose. - lol

Where does this fit is your scriptural position? Where is Jesus now?

Ephesians 2:6-7
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:1
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
Raised up to eternal life with Christ. That's me. I am very comfortable with that thank you, mister doubter.

My question was, "How are such things measured?"

The context. I just recently provided a post for you on the context, my friend.

Who's doctrine?

Christ's doctrine. It's called the doctrine of Christ. Meaning: The teachings of Christ, which include His commandments for us.

Which doctrines?

It is called "doctrine" (singular) in this instance. Meaning, it is one set of teachings from Christ.

How is this claimed "need" for doctrine fulfilled?

By obeying the doctrine.

You said:
Did the thief on the cross next to Jesus have his doctrine straight?

As I pointed out before, Jesus said to whom much is given, much is required. This means that when a person lives out their faith, they are given more responsibility for obeying God's Word or His commands. The thief on the cross did not live out of his faith, and thus he was not given as much responsibility as those who do live out their faith and have the Word to obey over a long period of time in their life.

You said:
What about the mentally challenged?

I do not have all the answers on all mental cases. I am not God. We look through a glass darkly. I believe those who were born with a mental condition whereby they cannot understand the concept to choose Jesus as their Savior are like babies and they will be saved. If they were a person who was an unbeliever and they later get in an accident and become mentally handicapped, I believe this is a form of judgment by God, but a Christian can pray for them to be healed in certain cases (according to God's will).

You said:
Does one need a degree from a KJO Bible college to be saved?

As I said before, my friend; One does not learn the Bible ultimately from men. A Bible college is actually the worst thing a person can do to learn the Bible. Bible colleges can destroy a person's faith in God. Bible colleges get a person to distrust what their own Bible says on many things. They attempt to re-write the Word and say the original languages mean what they want it to mean instead of just reading and believing their own Bible in the plain English and comparing spiritual things with spiritual (Scripture with Scripture) under the guidance of the Spirit (By asking God for the Spirit to help understand His Word). God's Word cannot be understood by men alone. Other believers can help, but they have to be genuine followers of Christ and the listener has to be asking God for the understanding on such portions of Scripture, as well. Bible colleges are not being loving towards the brethren because they are putting them into a great financial burden like other secular worldly colleges do.

You are speaking in vague terms. I have no idea what you are talking about.

Anyways, please stop being so antagonistic with me.

So there is one omnipresent God who we call Father. God is spirit, He made himself visible in the man Christ Jesus who we know as the Son and He is present with us in spirit (the Holy Spirit) minute by minute, and day by day. Agree?
No, Oneness theology may be close enough to the truth but it doesn't realize that the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit are eternally immanent expressions / manifestations of God.

That's the only way you can make your claim work. Redefine the word "doctrine".

Blessings to you in the Lord.
I am moving on from talking to you, dear sir.

In Genesis 1, God said,

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..."

Jesus said in John 14:23,

"If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
Who is "We"? It is the Father, and the Son. There cannot be a "We" if God the Father just puts on a mask as the Son, or He just manifests differently.

A person can be forgiven if they speak bad words against the Son (Jesus); But this is not the case with the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:31-32).

Jesus said,

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;" (John 14:16).

Who is the first comforter if there is ANOTHER Comforter?

"For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak." (John 12:49).

How can Jesus receive a commandment from the Father if it was Himself that was given Him His own commands? It makes no sense. The Father was giving a command in what Jesus (the Son or the Word) was to say and to speak. Jesus said He did not speak of Himself. This rules out the Oneness view.

God is a tripartite being the same as us.

God is a tripartite being the same as us.

The Father is not the Son, and the Son is not the Father; And yet they are one God, one being, etc.; The Son died for our sins, and it was not the Father. The Son did not send the Father, but it was the Father sending the Son, etc.; The Holy Spirit is the: "Another Comforter" (Implying there is a previous Comforter).

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct persons and yet they are all one God. God is one, and yet He exists as three persons. Each of the persons of the Trinity has the capability to dwell within one another. Jesus essentially said "I am in the Father, and the Father is in me." (John. 14:10).

What is your point, unless you are saying we are body soul and spirit, while being One person.

Likewise for God being three because we are in His image. Jesus is the body, the comforter is the Father's Spirit, and the Father the same as our soul. The three are One God the same as our body, soul and spirit are One person. Just thinking aloud.

Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
Romans 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

This is an oversimplification and it doesn't really work. Our Heavenly Father is not a soul without a spirit. The Holy Spirit is not a spirit without a soul. And, Of Course, Jesus is not a body without a soul and a spirit!

You made God one person with a body! When did He get a body? I don't think this is how Oneness Pentecostals describe the Godhead.

Raised up to eternal life with Christ. That's me. I am very comfortable with that thank you, mister doubter.
Why would you call me "mister doubter"? That seems uncalled for.

In a previous post you indicated that Christ was only God for 33 years.
I was challenging that idea that you claimed was scriptural.
