Watch an evangelist like Ray Comfort (I think that is his name). He’s offensive only because people don’t like the fact that their sin is being pointed out to them. But if people don’t know what sin is and aren’t convicted in some way, then what do they need a savior for?
i don't know how to thank you....(that was sarcasm BTW)

five minutes look at this disturbed person and his message(s) has left me wanting to shower. Leaving aside his disgusting promotion of child abuse, his defense of school shootings and his claims that the mass dumping of toxic waste are good things I couldn't find any truth in anything he said. This leads to my point, if a speaker is going to be purposefully offensive why would anyone bother to listen to him?

Quartermaine, to point out a fellow believer's sin is... offensive. So, I guess I would do that to help them, to bring them into truth, so that they could be closer to God. Only I show it to them in the Bible. Because what I say really does not matter.
what does that have to do with political correctness or the choice to be purposefully offensive to whole groups of other people?

He’s evangelized a ton of people, how about you? That’s not sarcasm btw.

Because lying is a sin no matter what. Nowhere in the Bible are we encouraged to lie about anything. The word "liars" is found in the same sentences as murderers, thieves, adulterers, etc.
what does that have to do with political correctness or the choice to purposefully offend?

Who was her husband?

Zechariah

18Zechariah asked the angel, “How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.”

19The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”

So all in all i feel just fine with your jab at me

I personally, feel that it is always good to give the truth just as it is. As long as it's God's truth. A lot of times people get their own truth (opinion) confused with God's truth (His Word) and that can cause hindrance to others. It's also important to give that truth on God's time, not ours. When we wait for Him to give us the right words to say, there still might be people that will get upset simply because they don't want to hear it, but it still ends with a clear conscience and planted seed, rather than wounded souls.

As far as I can see, "politically correct" is an insult used against those who want us to obey James 3:1-12. Yes, it's sometimes great to let loose and say whatever you want. But the NT asks us to think carefully about what effect our speech will have on others.

Well, the greatest test of whether to tell the truth or not is when your wife asks you if the dress she has on makes her look fat. (Sorry, I just couldn't resist)

THAT is a loaded question lol.

you could start in his book Cults, Sects and Questions

Where is he telling people not to get treatment for cancer???
"You should never consult a doctor or go to a hospital for treatment, because you would be interfering with the work of God in your life. If Cancer is the chastening tool of God, then doctors who are fighting cancer are fighting against the work of God. If a preacher or a Christian believes the sickness is a means of chastening, then he should never pray for relief from the sickness, but rather pray that the cancer will continue to grow until the chastening is completed." John the Baptist was not politically correct. Should we tell the truth, even if it costs us our heads? Or, should we water down the truth and play it safe?

I made some sequential art about John the Baptist and express my opinion about this. At this time, it seems to me that the church is more concerned about feelings than truth. Please weigh in on this with you recommendations.

You are right!

Jesus was neither politically correct.

When Jesus started rebuking the Jews and their orthodox religion (Pharisee then). That would be treated in modern times as a form of attack

And Jesus would certainly violate:

- Political correctness
- Anti-anti-Semitism (the irony) - for saying bad things on anything that identifies with the Jews including their orthodox religion.

By modern standards, Jesus would be both Politically INcorrect and anti-Semitist!^_^^_^

You should keep quiet whenever possible.

Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Proverbs 17:28
Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.

Psalm 62:5
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.

What Does the Bible Say About Silence?

He’s offensive because his style gets more views on YouTube. But I think his motivation is love for the lost, you can hear it in his voice.

However, we should only speak the truth in love. It’s hard to do and requires the Holy Spirit and so we shouldn’t go out trying to offend, and when choosing to be confrontational, this needs to be done with much prayer IMO

It is the listener's responsibility to not be offended.
It’s the Christian’s responsibility to speak only in love with a heart for the listener to actually....listen to the gospel.
