Yeah? What am I supposed to see? That Trump is an effective leader? OK. Got it.

And that's why the Soviet Union is such a great power today.

But think of it at the time...Stalin wasn't "ousted" from power. Stalin maintained power. And he used a lot of purges.
I know, I know, it looks bad to compare with Stalin, but in the hands of a great man like Trump that kind of power won't be wasted. Stalin had some real issues but he knew how to maintain power. Trump is much smarter and far more stable so his hold on power can be used for GOOD!
It's like a hammer: you can use it to break a window or build a house. Trump is going to use the hammer to build a mansion for us all. Seems like a fair trade to just give him the hammer, right?
Seems like a fair trade to give him everything you have.
Clearly he can do more with it than you ever will.
I don't see it that way. I want more, I'm just like any other American. I want all my tax money back at the end of the year, I don't want to pay for other people's issues. As such I'm looking at like a "deal" (something Trump is a world-class expert at) in which I give Trump the tools he needs to make me wealthier and less encumbered by other people's issues.
First, this view is not like "any other American."
There are plenty of people who do wish to be generous and help other people.
Second, what bothers me the most about your view isn't that it's your view or that there are Americans who have it (after all, I've stated before that we as a country got the President we deserve), but that it's all being done in some guise of psuedo-Christianity.
The values that you uphold here are NOT the values of Christ and his kingdom
and yet Trump and the GOP can't stop all their fake Christianese babble in some attempt to justify all of their corruption and evil acts.
Really? Because a lot of my friends don't want to pay for other people's problems. I usually work hard to vote again tax hikes that go to school districts where I don't have any kids in the school, and I CERTAINLY don't want to pay money to help someone else with their healthcare bills. I thought that was what our "Pioneering Self-Made Man" philosophy was here in the U.S.
Trump has a word for those kind of folks. I mean it's all good if SOMEONE ELSE wants to care about others, but I haven't got all of mine yet, so count me out of that game.
First: I'm not a Christian. But America is a Christian nation that I am glad to be a part of. They do whatever they need to do to enforce the rules and getting a man like Trump to the helm means that more laws will be put in place to enforce RIGHT. And not allow WRONG.
Like I said, I'm not a Christian. But I still honor the Religious Right and Conservative Christians and their dedication to absolute right and wrong.
Evil acts? Name one. Just one.
What a weird response. LOL

It's OK. It was only locker room paper.
Their morals are sore -- you should always stretch before twisting
Tell that to the family who was reunited with their soldier husband/father, or the black Tuskegee airman who was honored, or the surviving family members of people killed by illegals, or the girl who received the chance to attend a school of her choice--all of who were honored during the SOTU.
You've already forgotten their names -- but you'll never forget what happened to a piece of paper.
Which Trump is that? Certainly not President Trump. That's why I like Trump. He's a worker. He got his money the old fashioned way. Hard word and being willing to put in the time and effort to do the heavy lifting. The man started off with a bit of an advantage due to his intellect, but he used those smarts to build an empire.

Not to mention the statements about the facts of the economy doing better than ever, with blacks and women and minorities finally being employed more than ever before.
None of which were even worth applauding by the democrats even though these things are supposedly what they value so much. By sitting there looking sour at the success of the things they claim to care so much about, and then their dear leader tearing it up at the end in a tantrum, they've shown their true colors. Something else to remember at election time.
