CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
What's wrong with following Trump's lead?

I'd guess few. How would Trump knew more about subjects than professionals that do research on those subjects?
It's like claiming to know more about plumbing than an experienced master plumber.

I taught plumbing to many newbies.
Most picked it up very, very well within a year.
How many years has Trump been in office?
He could easily be a pro by now.
Especially with excellent advisers.

Sounds like maybe you take Trumps words to mean only that he's studied up, read briefing papers, instead of not reading.
Ok. That would be plausible. if he did, he could learn things most people dont know, ideally. That would not be all people. But at least he could potentially learn more than 95 or 98 percent of people. I guess then he could say "more than anyone" meaning like in an average household. He would know more than maybe anyone at one of his rallies about some things.

You can turn from this, before it destroys you. We are told how to turn and confess and be cleansed from such dangerous sin in 1rst John chapter 1.

In that video montage of like 20 something examples of Trump saying he knows more about subject after subject than anyone -- "nobody knows more about this than I do" ... it does not seem as if He is just saying "I studied it and learned more than a lot of people know".
If you pay attention past just the first few clips, you'll hear more that will show a different meaning.
