you acknowledge that WB requirements were modified "just in time" for this WB's complaint ?

No, I don't. And the second link I provided in post #25 addresses that very issue. Again, all of your questions could be answered if you just did a bit of homework.

  • Viktor Shokin (Ukrainian citizen) tried to investigate the Bidens and some of their foreign financial ties
  • "well, SOB, he got fired"
  • President Donald Trump (US citizen) tries to investigate the Bidens and some of their foreign financial ties
I guess Mr. Biden thinks he will get another roomful of raucous laughter (Dems & foreign financiers) with the same punchline.

That would convince other would-be witnesses that testifying against the Bidens could be hazardous to their futures

Viktor Shokin & President Trump are the real whistleblowers
Except that Shokin wasn't seriously investigating Bursima. He wasn't seriously investigating any corruption in Ukraine because he himself was corrupt. That's why the Western Powers sicced Biden on him.

What the heck are you talking about? Did you bother to read those links? The ICIG is legally bound to investigate and respond to certain claims within a certain period of time.

All of your questions, wild speculations and rantings could be answered if you just did a bit of homework.
WB claim:

In the days following the phone call, I learned from multiple U.S. officials that senior White House officials had intervened to “lock down” all records of the phone call

So, how is that the whole entire world has a publicly available transcript of the call? The President published the transcript?

Not proven, wild speculation & allegation on your part. More parsimonious that:
  • Shokin was not investigating the "old guard" Ukrainians Biden & Western liberals wanted investigated
  • Instead, he was trying to investigate the Bidens, leader amongst Western liberals
That narrative fits all the present facts of the case succinctly

As long as it fits, I suppose you don't think it matters whether it is true or not.

Yes, after everybody started screaming about it, that's exactly what happened.

Please acknowledge the plain truth -- the WB justifies ignoring sworn witness testimony evidence, on the grounds of bias...

"by the measure you judge, so you shall be judged"

the WB is biased, so we are justified in ignoring his hearsay ?

Beginning in late March 2019, a series of articles appeared in an online publication called The Hill. In these articles, several Ukrainian officials — most notably, Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko — made a series of allegations against other Ukrainian officials and current and former U.S. officials. Mr. Lutsenko and his colleagues alleged, inter alia:
  • that they possessed evidence that Ukrainian officials — namely, Head of the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine Artem Sytnyk and Member of Parliament Serhiy Leshchenko — had “interfered” in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, allegedly in collaboration with the DNC and the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv5;
  • that the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv — specifically, U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, who had criticized Mr. Lutsenko’s organization for its poor record on fighting corruption — had allegedly obstructed Ukrainian law enforcement agencies’ pursuit of corruption cases, including by providing a “do not prosecute” list, and had blocked Ukrainian prosecutors from traveling to the United States expressly to prevent them from delivering their “evidence” about the 2016 U.S. election; and
  • that former Vice President Biden had pressured former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in 2016 to fire then Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin in order to quash a purported criminal probe into Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company on whose board the former Vice President’s son, Hunter, sat.7
In several public comments, Mr. Lutsenko also stated that he wished to communicate directly with Attorney General Barr on these matters.9

The allegations by Mr. Lutsenko came on the eve of the first round of Ukraine’s presidential election on 31 March. By that time, Mr. Lutsenko’s political patron, President Poroshenko, was trailing Mr. Zelenskyy in the polls and appeared likely to be defeated. Mr. Zelenskyy had made known his desire to replace Mr. Lutsenko as Prosecutor General

Seriously? Again, none of the WB's biases matter because he doesn't have any power to do anything. He files the complaint; the IG investigates and passes it along to congress.

You condemn the President for not being psychic & clairvoyant?

He's supposed to publish the transcripts before anybody asks for it?

No, I condemn the president for being a crook who presents himself in public as a simple-minded doofus. And I'm criticizing you for not doing your homework before going off on all these rants. I'm not criticizing Trump for releasing the transcript after people asked for it.

It only takes a spark , to get a fire goooinnnngg.... a forest fire is not something to start uncontrolled...

The WB? has been used to cause much damage, at great cost, to practically all involved,
without any good results so far,
and unlikely any good results ever. (politics is often that way, eh? )

We're talking about bias, yes?
  • "Your team" (WB & co) can summarily toss out mountains of sworn witness testimony evidence by impugning the motives of the Ukrainian anti-corruption investigators trying to share the same with the US
  • "My team" (POTUS & conservatives) cannot summarily toss out hearsay by impugning the motives of the WB
How is that not biased?

Why didn't the IG read the WB complaint, as you had me read it...

and then immediately start investigating the Bidens, and demanding all of that Ukrainian evidence of corruption?

Did you even read what the WB acknowledged the Ukrainians testified to?

Erik, has anyone proved he is totally biased?
Please read post #49
The WB acknowledged that Ukrainian anti-corruption investigators have already testified to the entire case against the Biden family & Burisma
But all that "doesn't count" because of political bias...
whatever happened to "by the measure you judge so you shall be judged" ?

The IG's job isn't to investigate the Bidens. Any inspector general's job is to investigate the things going on in the purview of the agency to which it's attached. It's sort of like a police department's internal affairs division. If the IG turns up something that indicates a crime has been committed by somebody outside the agency's purview, it's somebody else's responsibility to chase that down. I would guess that, in this case, that responsibility would fall to the DOJ and/or congress.
