The contribution of gases to the atmosphere that induce temperature rise is not just from CO2. Below are the direct measurement of CO2 into the atmosphere as measured by NOAA.

My scepticism of this line was piqued when cow flatulence in NZ herds was blamed.
Methane is supposed to have 10 times the greenhouse effect of CO2.
Up until a couple of hundred years ago there were huge herds of herbivores that roamed all of the continents, that have all been wiped out. No more flatulance.

I speak from regular experience. In fact I was just on a plane with a lady who told me that she had fled Auckland for the tropical climes of Sydney a few years ago.

The deception I'm referring to is the political move towards globalism and greater control of the masses as a supposed solution to the phenominum.
Another deception is that it is called "environmentalism", when the whole focus is on doing things that protect human civilisation as if that ever helped Creation.

I don't doubt it. Largely caused by the shift of average latitude of low pressure systems crossing the country, that you reffered to earlier. We are getting your southerly busters as wet westerlies.
But this was all predicted by "cranks" who consulted the moon about 20 years ago.
In 40 years of watching in my little seaside home town we havn't really observed anything of significance that hasn't been happening for the last couple of hundred years at least. There have been inundations, one bigger one in the last few years (Cyclone Tracy), but when you look at it the damage was largely down to poor council consenting practice.

The country is not as "green" as we make out. One of the most polluted rivers in the southern hemisphere is the Manawatu river, and poor dairy farming practice in the South Island is wrecking the water table.
Anyway, we already form a significant part of your work force and the Chinese have already made the move on the farmland.

Yes, we have concealed the huge damage our tiny population has caused rather well.
I live in a wee town that has that had a chemical works in it that caused very bad pollution in the local area. Its now concealed under a couple of big mounds of dirt that nobody is allowed to dig into. But we still get rainbows in the local creek when it rains.
