Trump supporters had nothing to do with it. That was between her and Trump. No one helped her fail, she did it all on her own.

Trump supporters sent her death threats, rape threats. She got back up on her own. She's much more successful than most folks on this forum.

She just finished a worldwide tour where she sold out venues in minutes. She sold out Carnegie Hall. A retired fellow who lives up on a mountain and plays with his goats all day made a thread about her.

Every single one of us on this thread is much more obscure than she is, ever will be. Unless you really are that old actor in your picture. Lol.

Well Bob, seeing as how she sold out Carnegie Hall, had sold out tours all around the world, a packed house at Radio City Music Hall, clearly she's got more than one supporter.

I personally don't care much for her comedy. I'd never heard of her until Donald's tantrums gave her so much publicity it was impossible to not know about her. He is to be credited for her worldwide tour's success! Seriously. The whole tour was named after that incident. I'm sure a huge percentage of the folks who rushed to buy their tickets did so not only due to wanting to hear her, but on account of despising Donald.

I do respect that she earned her money herself. She wasn't a Trump. She didn't grow up with a silver spoon in her mouth. She wasn't a Melania. She didn't take her clothes off for money and then marry somebody old enough to be her daddy to get her money. She became a self-made millionaire. I also admire that she persevered. Folks did their best to keep her down. She got right back up and laughed right in their faces.

All the "self-made success" in the world can't excuse what she did though and it seems in your posts that you can only stick up for her because her monetary success and/or "strong will". At the end of the day, what she did was inexcusable, whether it was Donald Trump's head in that picture or not. How is that any better than a terrorist group? She's unemployable but still makes a movie about it? That sounds like she's still exploiting the event but just playing the victim. I'm not a fan of the method but I can't argue about her right to do so. She's not the first to use an effigy in a political protest (most commonly burning) and she won't be the last. Just Google "Trump effigy" and see what you get.

What she did years back was indeed inexcusable, vile. I'm not "sticking up" for her. I'm telling the facts. Would it be more Christian of me to dog pile in on the schadenfreude? Not at all.

She's inflicted a whole heck of a lot less harm on folks than Donald Trump, so I'm not going to get bent out of shape about her inexcusable gag directed at him years back that did not actually harm him.
