You know I loved part 1 of that movie it was awesome and then in endgame I was completely disappointed. I know many thought it was awesome but all I saw was a drawn out drama for almost 2 hours and then the last 40 minutes of action. I did not have fun and I almost just left the theater. I had the strange Idea that they were going after thanos and would fight against horrible odds to beat him...instead we got 90 minutes of time travel. I am sorry that movie made me feel like I waited 10 years of movie watching lol.

I don't watch secular fiction movies that are not famiy friendly (like safe TV romance films that promote good values). I primarily watch Christian movies that seek to inspire a person to follow the Lord and nature documentaries. I used to love Marvel films, but I started to become disturbed by all the sinful things pushed within them as of late. Anyways, I read the review for the film, and it sounded bad. They broke the rules of time travel, and they made Steve Rogers act in a way that he would not do (i.e. he put his life above the needs of others). Today, these kinds of movies and it's characters are almost like idols to people.

Well I would argue Steve Rogers earned his happy ending but everything about that movie just felt wrong. I kind of miss the days were it was good vs evil and the good guys won. Like Return of The Jedi. It was clear good vs evil movie and it was also about redemption. They started out good with Infinity War and it ended horribly with Endgame

I'm not a fan of most action movies like this, I do watch The Flash and Arrow but I only went to see this because I was vacationing and had a chance to see a movie in a hundred year old theater. This was all that was playing. I really wanted to get up and leave. Hubby who is familiar with these series couldn't understand what was happening either so I didn't feel too bad. I have to say that Robert Downey Jr, looked pretty haggard in this one, shame.

I was a comic book fan as a kid and got a kick out of seeing the Avengers characters come to life in a somewhat realistic as possible way in many of the earlier films. I think they are now seeming to be turning the Marvel Universe into some sort of pantheistic one in which time travel can solve all problem. I just find that whole premise not only ridiculous but antithetic to my Christian belief system. So I most likely will not be watching any further MCU movies. My favorite line form one of the earlier films was when Captain America replies "There's only one God ma'am and I'm pretty sure He doesn't dress like that." seems that sentiment is no longer accepted in these movies.

I grew up in the 80's, as well; And I used to love Marvel, Star Trek, and Star Wars. I collected Marvel comics, and so the movies were always something that I used to enjoy. But when I discovered certain Marvel movies started to push extremely sinful things within their films like Deadpool (profanity, nudity, glorification of excessive violence for no reason), Logan (excessive unnecessary violence), Doctor Strange (God condemns withcraft; In the Old Testament, sorcerers were to be killed. Note: I am aware of the movie attempts to distance themselves from him being a sorcerer from the comics, but he is still working power outside of God's design), Marvel Netflix series (pushes fornication, etc.), I started to decide that should put away the majority of secular fictional movie watching (Which is not family friendly or promotes Christian values).

My current favorite movies are Christian films now.

Here is my ultimate list:

1. Time Changer.
2. What if.
3. The Redemption of Henry Myers.
4. Heaven's War.
5. The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry.
6. 77 Chances.
7. Champion.
8. The Star.
9. The Prince of Egypt.
10. The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.
11. Ben-Hur (Remake).
12. Risen.
13. Finding Normal.
14. (Movie Coming Soon) (Review: Hopefully this June).
