  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here it is: The Mueller report is out.

The report is out, the Truth is unassailable and now it must divide those who would rather remain deceived from those who seek after righteousness.

You make it sound as if it's the latest scriptural additions to the bible since Revelation.

Does it have to come right out and say it? If there was any, it would have stated what that evidence was. Do you think that if there was specific evidence, it would have not been included?

Given how many people are trying to twist this report to say one thing or another, yes.

The only reason it's being twisted is because so much of it is written in vague terms that are open to interpretation. It sounds as if Mueller didn't want to come right out and say anything specific, but was inclined to just leave his investigation as pretty much inconclusive and allowing voters to do what they've always done--which is to vote who they want into or out of office when election day comes. So why can't the dems in congress just leave it at that?

How would you know? You just made a big thing about never reading it!

448 pages of political mumbo-jumbo isn't truth. If I want Truth, I read the Bible. There's plenty of political ramblings that can be seen and heard on TV. I have no intention of sitting down and wasting countless hours reading the Mueller report. Like I said, if there's something significant in it the idea that Trump did something terrible, and so far nothing like that has been found, then someone somewhere will point it out.
I've studied semantics my whole adult life. All reasoning based on falsehood always ends in a contradiction of reasoning. Respectfully, you're lying to yourself when you want to believe the report is political mumbo-jumbo just so as to be dismissive about it being worth while to read. In fact our thoughts are not always us. There are powers of darkness that would hold us captive through deception. Your cynicism is indicative of darkness and is not indicative of faith. You're depriving yourself of those things that foster hope by being cynical.

Because even the "highlights" that have been put out there as being so "informative" are the vague statements I'm referring to. If those are the highlights, then why bother with the rest?

I guess I should start reading everything then, right? Should I read the full text of every bill introduced in Congress too? People need to be selective about what they're going to spend their time on. Reading 448 pages of an investigation that has already been read by many people and found to be vague--all for the purpose of coming here and trying to change the minds of people who will hate Trump from now until the day they die--is not on the top of any of my lists. It's just clutter that I'd rather keep where it belongs. It belongs to the world for the worldly to bicker about to no one's benefit.

For instance?

How about the idea that there's nothing that shows he's guilty, but then says that he can't be exonerated either? If that's the big conclusion, then what a waste of 2 years and 30 million dollars. Should I add about 20 hours of my own time to that waste?

Which is why I think the Democrats should confront Trump on his harmful political polices, not his character, which speaks for itself.

Truth is God and His Word is wherever honest men speak in testimony to the Truth. I'm sick of all of the lies I've heard and the spinning (distorting of the Truth). Read the report and quite making excuses. It won't take that long to look peruse through volume 2 and find something interesting. You will walk away enlightened. It's important that you not allow yourself to be spoon-fed what it says, so that the devil can't enter your mind and convince you that whatever you heard from others may not be accurate.

It would depend on how well the alternative was polling. There is currently one Republican said to challenge him, but he's not well-known.
But the Republican Party could easily decide to run someone who could challenge him and back that person, greatly increasing their odds of winning in 2020.

The ones who should confront Trump about his policies are the voters. They did that in 2016, but many people just can't accept that. They can try again in 2020. In the meantime, democrats should just accept the election results and be patient until 2020.

What is everyone talking about? I've read the Mueller Report, and it has nothing but good things to say about Trump.

How he overcame adversity growing up poor in Manhattan. How he spent his weekends caring for the poor, and praising God. How as an adult he suffered as no less than two wives mysteriously turned on him, horribly disfigured by age. How he would take self-loathing porn-stars and centerfolds into his hotel rooms and preach to them about Christ all night long. How he went on to Twitter nearly every day and praised his fellow human beings. How he won that truth-telling contest. It really seems quite complimentary.

I imagine Trump is quite pleased with it.
Trump can't help who he is in my view.

If someone quotes from the report and shows the location of the text, why should I doubt what it says?

It's best if the Party doesn't do that, but simply looks to the people who are going to be voting. The democrat party backed the person they wanted when the people wanted someone else, and so the people either didn't vote, or voted the other way. I'd rather not see the republican party do the same.

Book of Mueller lol!

At 448 pages, it would be about the length of the New Testament. It might even have to be it's own testament! The "Millennial Testament".
