CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The moral is that wearing a Chinese-made MAGA hat is good because the nonwhite people trash you unfairly and if they only knew you weren’t actually a jerk they would vote for your guy. What did I miss?

"Sour grapes" actually gets misused a lot.
It's not a feeling of bitterness towards some undesired outcome. It's a cynical attitude that something you didn't get wouldn't have been very good anyways so you're better off without it.

Ummm... This ---> Arguing with or taking any liberals to task is customarily a losing endeavor. Their approach is often rooted in emotions and feelings and the tendency can be for those variables to supersede logic and empirical evidence. They often default to their playbook of -ism's, women, children, minorities, etc. and once they exhaust their options, they tend to censor their opponents and remove their ability to exercise their First Amendment rights.

The actual point of the video isn't a bad one. It's about not jumping to conclusions based on limited information. I think though, that the point could be better made if this weren't such an obviously slanted campaign ad. It's not like people on the left are the only ones guilty of jumping to conclusions and joining a bandwagon of hate on the internet.
