Hi, I'm Gary.

Non Christian, but technically non religious. Don't let that put you off. I take this stuff very seriously.

Right now, I'm aware of the End of Days cycle looming (according to most sources), and am wondering what people's thoughts are on this whole thing.

Not quite sure which Forum would be right for this, though.

Welcome to the forums, Gary. Myself, I like free thinkers. We can only learn from each other if we keep an open mind. As for the End of Days, I am not too big on the subject. People have been calling for this for about 2,000 years. None of us know when it will happen, so the main thing to do is to live life as best we can and not worry about the End of Days. Having said that, I firmly believe in God and that we will all be judged by how we live our lives. Hence, it is still important to love God and each other and especially to show mercy to those that are hurting, physically or emotionally.

Hi Gary, WELCOME TO CF

Question, why are you, as a non-Christian/non-religious person interested in the Christian perspective on the end of the age?

Also, if you don't mind, what are most of your sources saying about the End of Days, generally speaking, as there always seems to be a new theory making the headlines.

Thanks!

p.s. - one of the things that I like to look at is the daily news in light of the prophetic portions of the Bible, because when the news starts to consistently say the same things that those portions of the Bible do, then it's a sure bet that the end cannot be far off :preach:

A board where you can ask questions of Christians is this one: Exploring Christianity

And a board where you to challenge our beliefs (if that's what you want to do instead) is: Christian Apologetics

I know and that's been my attitude, too. Just that there are certain things I've seen that have made me rethink everything.

Hello friend,
The truth is that God is making a revelation to you and is "drawing you" right now.

I do believe time to be very short as I read the things written in scripture indicating the signs of the end.

While no one knows the exact time, We do see the signs as it approaches as the fig tree springs forth new leaves.
As children of God we look forward to this great day when Jesus comes for His own.

I am praying for you that you will make the decision to let Jesus have your heart friend

Message me anytime if you have questions and I will do my best to answer them.
God bless you :]

I have no real thoughts on the end of days...I’m too busy just trying to get through today...but I wanted to welcome you to Christian Forums. I hope you get some good answers, and have some good discussions.

Good question and I'm not exactly sure how to answer this without causing offence to some.

Being non-Christian / non-religious does not necessarily mean I'm an atheist, agnostic, etc. It simply means, at least for me, that I am forging my own path.

As for my sources, they are those who claim to be involved in the End of Day cycle, and I've no reason to disbelieve them, considering everything I've experienced in my life.

What I guess I am looking for here is, of End of Days could be averted, and the reset stopped, would people choose this. If the current manifestation of the Christ consciousness could avoid removing the seven seals, is this what Christians would want? (And yes, from all I am aware of, there is such a manifestation in human form right now, though it raises the question on how anyone would know how to recognize that if they happened to come across it.)

Like I said, I'm trying to phrase this carefully as not to offend.

Hi again Gary, no worries, you haven't said anything offensive .. yet ;) ^_^

I do have a couple of things that I'm going to need clarification on however before I'll be able to reply to your last post.

1) What/Who is "the current manifestation of the Christ consciousness" that you speak of above?

2) By "there is such a manifestation in human form right now", do you mean that you believe Jesus has returned and is living among us again? .. or do you mean something else??

Thanks!

Lol, it's refreshing to speak to one as urself because I was in alignment with your thoughts up until last year...

Firstly I pray you will come to certain realizations about this life, our reality and that the simplicity of Jesus will be allowed into your understanding.

On the topic of the last days... I have also felt impending doom coming, whether it be an alien invasion, zombie apocalyse, purging of mankind by wicked men and now its the Return of Jesus in his fullness... Whatever it was I felt it. I honestly dont even think 50% (I'd say really 90%) of Christians feel it. And as such their life is kind of a paradox. Anyway, I always feel something is coming, so I dont think you have to be a religious person to have that gut feeling and vice versa.

I guess we few could all be kind of nuts, or we have something you dont have... You decide.
