why are certain things demonic

Certain things are demonic when demons do them, use them, influence them, deceive them, and so on - even just being around them (some objects), for a few examples.

The devil and demons do not want to show their true 'form'. They try to appear as Jesus when they can , and as angels of light, of ministers of 'good news', as 'bringers of peace', while they destroy all they can, men's souls especially.

When we see the enemy after the great day, it is written everyone laughs at it - saying , "Is THAT the one that caused such turmoil !? "
(if referring to the devil at that point, anyway)

They DECEIVE when they can, appearing like "angels of light", but they are utter darkness, decrepit and powerless except for deception. (until Yahweh grants the enemy power to kill the believers , in Revelation) .....
