Yes.

First of all, I don't know what gods you believe in, but I believe many of them were real.

It took Him just six days to create the universe, but this project ... the Flood ... took more than a year.

Well if I had to take a guess and that what this is, not based on any direct scriptures, I would say that it seems that God does not want His existence to be proven. I don’t really see a need to question it. I simply take it on faith. I choose to believe because of the work He has done in my life. That’s all the proof I need. There’s plenty of evidence supporting God’s existence but nothing to actually prove it.

I'm still not getting it. Do you mean to say god authored the Bible? But we know biblical Canon was established over centuries by a series of church councils convened to establish doctrine. We also know that the KJV is one specific translation of a Canon established by Luther, who removed books from the Catholic Canon.

If you're saying they're trying to get rid of god, that might be a side effect of science but it doesn't make specific philosophical claims. It can be used to come to conclusions though.

I’m curious how did we survive so long without all these necessary components during the mutation process?

The authenticity of the Scriptures were already established and completed in AD 96.

These councils merely separated the wheat from the chaff.

As one man put it:

They weren't convened to create authorized books; they were convened to create a canon of books already authorized.

If I put you in a room with the following:

One dollar bills; two dollar bills; three dollar bills; four dollar bills; five dollar bills; six dollar bills; seven dollar bills; eight dollar bills; nine dollar bills; and ten dollar bills.

And asked you to separate them into two piles: Legal Tender and Fake Money.

God is an idea that makes the idea of death more bearable. Science is a system of assessing the natural world and coming to conclusions about it's behavior. No, it isn't metaphysics, which is solidly in the realm of philosophy. Science serves a different function than to prove religion right or wrong but it yields enough information for people to make that decision on their own.

Well they're not even close to perfect. People die constantly, have failing organs or limbs or a myriad of other problems. In fact, it's kind of shocking we survive at all, sometimes.

Humans in our present form, Homo Sapiens, appeared around 200,000 years ago but our genetic ancestors go back much further and through many generations of successful adaptive change, we began to gain the qualities of our species. The internet has some pretty solid information regarding the finer details of the process if you're curious.
