Yes, in JOHN'S book, we read Jesus saying that if you love Me, you will keep my
commandments. And what did Jesus constantly preach? To believe on Him, and to love our neighbor. And not only our neighbor, but our enemy too.
JOHN also wrote 1 John 3:23 voices what those commandments are.
And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
Do not confuse the Commandments of Jesus, with the Old Covenant Ten Commandments.
John 13:34
A new
commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
